I changed ship too but it was a very progressive change. In the first season I liked Datherine and Stelena then somehow without noticing somewhere at the beginning of the second season I stopped caring about Stelena but I wasn't a Delena shipper yet and I didn't hate Stelena I just stopped caring. I Thought that Delena had very intense and touching scenes but I was still hoping Datherine would get a moment or some kind of closure. Also I was afraid that Elena would castrate him like she did with Stefan if they would start a relationship.Then in the third season I started hating Stelena and shipping Delena so badly I surprised myself lol! The best part is that I was wrong Elena doesn't castrate him, he makes her stronger.

@Katherine_girl: lol I really don't know. In the beginning, I am kind of excited by the potential romance of DE and SE, and other romance of TVD. Unfortunately, as the writers drag out the triangles, Elena go back/forth between the brothers, the show became a teenage drama/romance hell and loses its appeal to me.
