I amor both characters. I may not agree with every decision he makes, but Damon is easily my fave character. I absolutely adore Elena and she comes in a close second.

So, actually, if I'm being honest, most of the DB fãs just can't understand that the books and the show are two completely different things. Probably they can't accept that and never will.
