The Simpson family first appeared in 1988 on the Tracy Ullman show. The creator Matt Groening and the producer James .L. Brooks turned the Simpson's into a full half hora show, which premiered on raposa network in December 1989. The Simpson's was a hit from the start and still is 20 years on(It is the longest running prime-time cartoon). The show has had many guests which have included Christina Ricci, Ringo Starr, Stephen Hawking, Hank Azaria, Kelsey Grammer, Phil Hartman and Conan O'Brien.
