fantasma da ópera Pergunta

What would you do if they changed something in your favorito version of POTO because it was offensive? Would you still be a loyal Phan of that version, or would you disregard your good memories of that version?

How would you balance your sensitivity for those who are offended por the version with your own feelings of love?

It depends on who, how and why are offended and what are the changes but I think while I would still amor the original I would accept the changes (If they are acceptable. For example I would be really mad if they would make Erik handsome just because his character might be offensive for people with deformities. :) )

It's hard since I get pretty attached to characters in books or whatnot, and have experienced this when for example they decided to reboot some movie I use to like and it did kind of take the shine a bit of the originals por ruining my memories abit but with the phantom since they already been a few different versions out there already, the original Leroux, susan Kay, Andrew Lloyd webber and some filmes I think in this case it wouldn't affect me,of course if they did something bad I end up hating only that version but like I said because they are already mais than one version out there I think I can get pass it.

It really depends on what, tbh. If it's a change to make the Phantom "nicer" or mais attractive then yeah, since that goes against the character in its entire conception. I also wouldn't like for the violence to be toned down, either.
