If Christine loved the Phantom, why didn't she stay with him?

Yes, Christine loved the Phantom but not in the way she loved Raoul. Because of the misunderstanding of the alw version, especially because of the film, and now because of that shit lnd everybody thinks that Christine was in amor with the Phantom. No, she wasn't. She loved him, but not like you amor your boyfriend or your husband or anything like that. She started to amor him because of this "angel of music" thing. The phantom meant a lot for Christine, especially because of the loss of her daddy and Erik being like a replacement father figure while he was the angel of música for her, but he was not a amor interest. Well, her feelings may change from heavenly amor to a mais earthly kind of amor (for example during The música of the night) but it's still not that feeling what you feel for your amor interest. You amor a lot of people in your life and you amor each of them differently. But personally I believe that if Christine really loved the Phantom the way that lot of people thinks, then she would have stayed with him, no matter if Raoul is there. She had to choose the man she loved and she chose it and non of us has the right to blame her for it.
