“Hey.” You smile, turning your head to kiss him.
“Miss me?” Ponyboy asks.
“Of course. I haven’t seen you in awhile.”
“I know. I just don’t want your mom and dad to get suspicious, you going to the wrong side of the tracks and all.” He mutters, just holding you.
“I know.” You mutter. “I wish it didn’t have to be this way.”
“Don’t you think I do too?” He says, holding you a bit tighter.
“I know you do.” You whisper.
“I don’t know what I’d do without you. I regret everything that happened when I first walked out. I thought it’d be better for both of us. But I was wrong.” He mumbled into your shoulder.
“I can’t wait till I’m 18. They won’t be able to tell me what to do. And I can have you.”
“And you’ll be mine.” He smiles.
“Love me forever?”
“And always.”

“Johnny?” You ask. You were sitting on his lap in the lot.
“Yeah?” He asks, absentmindedly playing with your hair.
“Would you ever leave me?” You whisper.
He sorta turns your body to face him. You see the emotions in his eyes.
“I would never, ever leave you, until the dia I die. Even if you ended up with someone else, I’d still always be here. I’d catch you when you fall. Not only catch you, but put you back up where you started and help you along the way. I would never leave you, even in a burning building. I amor you.”
