The school sino rang. It was friday, the school let out. it was two-thirty. I usually wait in the hallway to walk início with my friends but not today. I sat on the bench outside of the school and dropped my books on the ground. The wind was blowing my long brown hair, but it was pretty warm outside. i was looking down at the sidewalk and a shadow came over me. I looked up. "Hey Ponyboy." "What are you doing sitting all alone?" He said. "I dont know, i dont want to go início right now." "Why arent you walking início with Two-Bit?" I asked him."He got suspended remember." "Oh yah, for beating up that Soc." "You wanna take a walk?" He asked me."Sure, i said." I picked up my books and we started walking on the dirt road. Me and Ponyboy were friends and we sometimes talked during school when we had the chance, but we didnt hangout outside of school very much. We lived in the same neiborhood. and so did the rest of the gang. I wasnt really in the gang, but i was considered a greaser girl. Only because i dated one and i hangout with them. I didnt really no where we were going but i knew we were goin in the direction of our neiborhood. But i didnt really care. I didnt want to go home. My parents are pretty strickt sometimes, and if i went início they would probly tell me to do my homework or do chores or something. They dont care if im not início most of the time. They just drink and fight like usual. "You wanna go to the lot?" Ponyboy said. "Yah lets go." I dont go to the lot very much because im afraid some Socs. would show up and try to start a fight. And i probly couldnt defend myself. But i felt ok cause i was with Ponyboy and he made me feel safe. We got to the lot and Ponyboy sat down on an old car assento and i sat down seguinte to him. "I used to come here all the time after school with Johnny and watch the sunset," Ponyboy said. "I still do sometimes, but it aint the same anymore." "And i usually end up falling asleep then going início and having Darry yell at me." "But i dont care. Sometimes you just have to get away." Ponyboy leaned progressivo, para a frente in frot of me and pulled out his cigarette lighter and lit a pile of sticks on the ground, then sat back. The fogo felt warm on my face, and the air was getting cooler. We first stared talking about school, and he was telling me that after his two best friends died his grades werent to hot. But then they stared to get better after he turned in his english essay. We stopped talking for a moment and it got silent. "Are you afraid of the Socs.?" I asked him. "No." "Well they beat you guys up dont they?" I said."Yah... but shoot man, ever since Dally died the gang isnt the same. Dally was tough and didnt let anyone beat him up or his buddies." "Thats why i usually walked with him so nobody would touch us." So now the Socs. take advantage of us, but we still beat em' back." "And at school i just ignore them." "Yah so do i." I said."There always joking me cause i hang out with yall. But i dont care." It started getting darker and the trees that were behind us were rustling. I sat forward, the sky was laranja but dark and i stared at the sun goin down. "Why did you want me to come with you to the lot?" I asked Ponyboy. "I dont know. i wanted to talk to you." "You are the only girl in are gang, and i dont really talk to girls that much." "The last time i hung out with a girl was at the movies, and she was a Soc." I scooted closer to Ponyboy, because it got colder. But he didnt care we were friends. But i was starting to like him more. I'v always kind of had a crush on him. Mostly because he was the youngest one in the gang, and we had alot in common. We looked over at the rua and saw head lights shining on the road. A blue mustang drove por us and looked over but couldnt see us cause it was dark. "That was a close one." I said. "You didnt run?" "usually a girl wouldnt want to be caught being seen with a greaser." Ponyboy said. "Well they didnt see us anyway, and i wouldnt of cared." "Why would i run away from someone i like." I thought to my self, i'v never said that to a guy before. I looked over at Ponyboy. He was looking at the ground, blushing. "Sorry." I said. I dont know why i apologised, but i did. "No, its ok. mabe i like you too." It was quiet, and akward. It was dark outside. "I think its time for me to go início now." I said. "Wait." Ponyboy said. And he leaned over and kissed me. "What was that for?" I said. "I dont know." "Oh, well it was nice." we stood up, and i picked up my books. Ponyboy blew out the fire. He lit up a cigarette and walked me back to my house. We said por to eachother, and he walked home.
“Johnny.” You shake him. “Johnny.
He mumbles, half asleep. “What? It’s 2 in the morning.”
“I want some tacos. With bacon. And maybe some chocolate sauce.”
“What the hell.” He laughs. “What does this baby like to eat?”
“Apparently tacos with bacon, toucinho and chocolate sauce.” You say.
“Well, I’ll go make the baby some tacos.” He says, getting out of the cama in his boxers.
“Don’t forget the chocolate sauce!” You yell after him as you rub your belly.
You complain to your best friend as she literally drags you towards the Dingo.
“C’mon (Y/N), it’ll be fun! Two-Bit’s got a friend for you!” Cathy raises her eyebrows.
“Maybe I don’t want a friend,” you mutter, then stop.
Standing seguinte to Two-Bit was the hottest guy you had ever seen.
Maybe you did want a friend.
Cathy goes over and hugs Two-Bit, where you just stare at the boy and he stares back at you.
“I’m Dally,” he says, sticking out his hand.
You take it. “(Y/N).” You smile.
“It’s pretty,” he smiles. But then he erases the expression off his face. “I mean, it’s tuff babe.”
“You don’t need to act all tough around me, I know your cool.” You grin.
“You really think so?” He asks.
“Yeah… You’re pretty cute too.” You smile.
“Well, I know that.” He smiles. “But you’re cuter.”
“Maybe we should ditch this movie.”
