Amiah Robertson

Eight-month-old Amiah Robertson was last seen on March 9, 2019 in Indianapolis, Indiana at her babysitter, Jeanette Browning's house.

At the time, Amiah, her mother Amber Robertson and Amber's boyfriend, Robbie Lyons had been living together in their car behind Jeanette's house. On the day Amiah went missing, Jeanette and other witnesses saw Robbie leave Jeanette's house with Amiah at 1:15 p.m. driving in a maroon 1996 Isuzu Rodeo in poor condition.

Between 1:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., Robbie was near Rockville Road and Mickley Avenue. He stayed on the southwest side of the city until 10:00 p.m. and came back to Amber without the baby.

At first, Amber wasn't concerned about Amiah's whereabouts because she was supposed to spend the night with Jeanette. It wasn't until the next morning that Amber discovered that she wasn't at Jeanette's house and Robbie was taunting her about where the baby was.

Amber later said that Robbie told her that he would take her to see Amiah, but she didn't know what to do because she was afraid of him. On March 16, 2019, she reported to the police that Robbie struck her with his car and Robbie was arrested for battery.

At first, the police were led to believe that Amiah was last seen on March 14, 2019 and was not in immediate danger, but after a few days, they learned that she was last seen on March 9, 2019 and later announced that that they suspected Amiah was in "extreme danger."

Robbie told the police that Amiah was safe and suggested several possible places to her whereabouts, but the police discovered that Amiah wasn't in any of the places he told them she was at and some of the locations he suggested didn't exist.

Although investigators suspect that Robbie is the prime suspect in Amiah's disappearance, he has not been charged in connection with her case. Her case is classified as an endangered missing person.
