mais than One! chapter sixteen


Katrina’s pov.


I looked at Alec, and damn he was HOT. I never really looked at him before. I either wanted to intimidate him or rip his throat out. So when I looked at him I was shocked. I knew all vamps were stunning But he had something about him. Their was this aura around him it was a lot different from what I saw around Jane. It was dark red almost the color of blood. I had been told mine was like that two.
“ How could you kill me? I could just knock you out again.” Alec said.
“ Last time we fought I didn’t not use my powers unlike you.” I said with a smile.
“ What powers?” Alec asked getting very serious.
“ You don’t know the Cullen’s didn’t tell you?” I said seeing how this could work to my advantage.
“ No they didn’t.” Alec hissed.
“ Well maybe I should show you.”
“ Yes you should. It could save your life.”
“ I don’t need my life saved por making a deal with the devil.” I spat at him.
“ You could walk out of here after you serve some time with us and then walk out.”
“ Why do you care anyway? You don’t even know what I can do yet.”
“ Fine what can you do?” He said ignoring my question.
“ I can’t tell you. But I can show you.” I said thinking of the show I could put on.
“ Fine show me.” Alec said.
“ Okay but you can’t get defensive and use that thing on me.” I said even thought it wouldn’t affect me if I had a clone up. Of course I didn’t want them to know how powerful I was with clones.
“ Okay I wont knock you out.” Alec said.
“ Okay then I will show you then.” I pointed across the room. “Go over there.” I said.
Alec went to were I pointed and I walked to the middle of the room. I centered myself think only of clones a lot of clone. I thought of how I needed protection, how I was alone and no one will help me. I thought of the anger I new all to well after I was abandoned out in that field the dia I was changed. I was letting the anger change into furry and the furry take over. I let the clone that were building up lose. They circled me. They black mist rubbed against my skin. I could feel their Darkness they could feel my furry. I opened my eyes and saw the shape of humans all around but they were clocked por the darkness I felt. I walked over to clone right in front of me. I waved my hand so it passed thought the Darkness pushing it away from the clone. With that one motion all the Darkness lifted revealing the cones standing around me.

Alec’s pov.

I did what Katrina said moving to the far end of the room so I was as far away as possible from were she stood in the middle of the room. I watched her as she centered her self and then something took over she was different. She had this darkness to her. Then it happened transparent gray clouds exited her hand. They swirled around her brushing against her skin and then they circled around her taking the form of humans but, I knew they where much mais than humans.
Katrina opened her eyes. I was shocked to see they where deep red and not brown like they where. She walked to the human like Shadow and passes a hand through it. The shadows departed from all of them reviling vampires. All the vampiros where beautiful women but each one was different. Katrina looked so powerful with the clone around her and the red eyes.
She turned and looked at me with at wicked smile.
“Do you see what I can do?” She said in a voice that wasn’t human or animal it was mais like a hiss.
She walked over to me. Her clones stayed where they where put. She turned and looked at me with thoughts red eyes. I looked in to them trying to find some emotion. All I could find was hatred for the week and furry for the strong.
“These are some of my favorito one. Their the first one’s I ever made.” Katrina said in a mais human voice.
“Their radiate powerful energy.” I said in a ‘matter of fact’ tone.
“The strong stay alive, while the week die.” She said.
“Yes they do.” I said.
“Now use your power on one of them.” Katrina order.
“Okay.” I said letting out a mist. It struck one of the clones. The clone didn’t drop to the ground like people always did. Instead she looked at me with eyes blank. I could tell it couldn’t see but it still saw.
“It is now seeing though me. It can’t see, hear, smell, touch, or taste on its own but it can thought me.” Katrina said.
“So my power doesn’t work on them.” I stated.
“Yes.” She said answered me anyway.
Then the clones turned back to mist and disappeared back into Katrina. Katrina fell to the floor. Her eyes where brown again and she looked so innocent and sad.
I knelled down so I could look at her, “ That’s an extraordinary gift you have.” I told her.
“No its not a gift, it’s a curse.” She said looking down.
“Never being able to let go, to just lose control when I have clones out. Many people could die.”
“How could they die?” I asked.
“I don’t have complete control over my clones. I have control when they have bodies but when their spirit is free I do not control them.” She said.
“Your not making any since.” I said. She looked up at me.
“My clones do not have a body of their own. I supply them with it. They are spirits that come to me. They get a body but they have to do my bidding. They can’t do something against my directions or the body won’t respond to them anymore. That’s how they can fight on their own, they need general direction but the rest they can do alone.” She said.
“Interesting. You know we might not kill you.” I said.
“Why?”
“Because we could use you gift and we don’t know if you did anything wrong.”
“I would rather die than work with the Volturi.” She said flatly.
“It’s not really that bad.” I said.
“To be some one laky. That would be bad.” She said looking down.
I put my fingers under her chin and mad her look at me. Then I’m not sure what happened seguinte but it was like something I’ve never felt be for. I couldn’t control my own body. I leaned progressivo, para a frente at the same time she did. Our lips met. It felt like I was falling into a bright light. The light made me fell warm not physically but emotionally warm. I hadn’t felt like that since I was human.
Katrina’s arms went around my neck like she needed me to support her. I had to put one hand on the mural so I would fall on her. Suddenly our kiss was broken and Katrina was no longer sitting on the ground. I stood up and looked at her standing across the room with her back to me. I walked over to her.
“I’m sorry I shouldn’t have done that.” I said standing about two feet away from her.
“It okay. Sometimes things like that just happen.” She said but the last part was mais to herself than me.
“I’m sorry you ended up here.” I said looking down.
“Its not your fault I’m her.” She said
“At least you might live though this.” I said.
“ I still won’t cadastrar-se the Volturi. But I do not intend to go quietly. May God have mercy on anyone soul who gets in my way.” She said bitterly.
I just stood there not knowing what to say when I herd pounding on the door.
“Alec what are you doing where about to land.” Jane yelled.
“Okay I’m coming.” I said leaving the room.
