Do u think the hunger games movie will be rated R ?

I really hope not cuz that would mean I might not be allowed to watch it. U have to consider though the amount of violence in these books (especially in the arena). But maybe the film makers will work it out to where the violence isnt TOO intense.

No, don't worry at all. Gary Ross has already confirmed in some interviews that he wants it to be rated PG-13, so as to make sure all younger readers can still enjoy the movie. =)

possibly but since it's a book for teens it's probably gonna be pg 13 or something, but even if the movie was r your parents might let you go just cuz you've already read da book.

PG 13. They will probably tone down the violence.

Ooh... You've got a point... Um... I hope not too! But my mom might let me see it because it would only be rated R for the violence, because everything else would just be like PG or whatever.

I think they'll make it PG-13 to include the book's leitura age group. Although, this movie could easily be R if they included everything from the book...

I read in an older edition of Entertainment Weekly (before Jen L. was cast as Katniss) that Gary Ross, Nina Jacobson, and Suzanne Collins were going to make the The Hunger Games movie PG-13 so the younger THG fanatics could see it.
