They recently announced it, no cast yet, and no official trailers. if you go on youtube they are just a bunch of clips from other movies, but they still look pretty good!

Also i heard tht the movie was gonna b rated PG-13.....which in my opinion, should b rated R. the only reason is because then there wont b the gore nd graphics tht would really make the Hunger Games awesome!!! but i guess its fine cause a lot of the readers r only 13 :D

The movie is set to be released on March 23, 2012 as of right now. Debra Zane has been hired as casting director. She also worked on Breaking Dawn. Liam Hemsworth from The Last Song was given a script to read and he loved the story. Hailee Steinfeld is a huge fã favorito for the role of Katniss, but nothing has been decided yet. It is most likely going to be rated PG-13.

she has worked wtih Gary Ross in the past and is willing to hire anybody, not just well-known or successful actors. i think she will do a good job, even though she has worked on Breaking Dawn. She wasn't responsible for casting Lautner and Pattinson and the rest of the cast for the anterior movies; she only casted the newest movie that is still in production.
