Was anyone else incredibly dissapointed por Mockingjay?

Seriously, when I finished it, I was like: Wait...what just happened? The pacing was all wrong, the characters did not grow or change or mature (in fact, they regressed), way too much unneccesary killing, and in the end, it felt like all the characters (but especially Gale and Katniss) had their personalities changed just so Collins could speedily come to her "perfect" ending. And then in the Epilogue we just watched as Katniss sounded wierdly depressed, and her nameless children froliked in the flowers.

Anyone else as sad as I am?

I was disappointed, too. I just finished it today. When I found out Gale was put in District 2, I was like "WTF?" He didn't even say goodbye to Katniss or anything. It was also a bit fast-paced. I liked Catching fogo MUCH better.

Both were so much better. I amor how Katniss just kind of shrugged and said "Well, he's probably off beijar another pair of lips." And then lived happily ever after. I felt like it was an insult to his character

I know, I liked Gale. And it seemed like she didn't care about him leaving at all. I'm still not sure whether I'm team Gale or team Peeta, because their character's weren't devoloped much.

I thought I was the only one affected por Katniss' behavior when she learned that Gale was in another District. She didn't even care. Poor Gale :(

I agree, especially with the pacing and the unneccesary killing, 8 people dead in a dia works in the arena but not when their running from mutts in a sewer, it just doesn't fit.
All of the characters seemed so different in, like you said, a regressive way and it really just messes up all the character development that happened. I also think she really messed up the relationships in the book, they were so off and nothing like from what they started. So yeah, I agree, it could've ended better.

Yeah! When I found out that Gale was put in District 2, I stared at the book like it was crazy. And the Epilouge was terrible! I hated that! But the rest was good besides Finnick dying, I really liked him. (Too bad Annie didn't die. XD)
