Just for the genuinely confused readers out there: Percy's missing. I'll wait a few minutos for you to stop hyperventilating...

Okay, new kid knows what's going on, the rest of you should be okay with this.

Now, what the Hades happened?

Well seeing as we're talking about demigods here: anything. As far as we know, he could've been taken por a breed of evil cubcake-aliens. Okay, maybe not, but there are a few ways.

1. This is the most obvious, and we've all picked it up. He was, wait for it, wait for it... Kidnapped! Um-hm, por who? procurar me, I don't know.

2. He went back to Ogyjia!

Okay, I'll be strait from the start,I'm not buying it.

a) I hear you Calypso apaixonados out there going "He was dying"

Yet Rick has confirmed Calypso isn't going to pop up in LH.

"Yeah, but later!"

But guess what? She isn't there. If I'd been stuck in a place, no matter how beautiful (except camp half-blood maybe, or Hogwarts) for I-couldn't-even-remember-that-long, I wouldn't be there a segundo longer once I had green light to leave.

A.K.A, Ogyjia is empty and desserted, with nobody going there. If Percy wanted to see Calypso, he wouldn't go there. And nobody would send a dying demigod there because, well, he'd just die alone.

Oh yeah, biggest proof of all: No man ever finds Ogyjia twice. (read that twice :P) Of course, Percy isn't like everybody else who only found Ogyjia once. But I still think he didn't get shipped or went for a viist to Ogyjia.

3) Percy was traveling, but he got attacked and left somewhere to die/rot whatever. He's in a neutral zone where the gods cant see him. Great idea, problem: if he's left somewhere to die, he would have trouble making it mais then 3 days. Yes, you understand what I mean, no I will not say it strait! :,(

Haha! Evidence against that: Remember the river-thing? Yes, when he bathed in the Styx, that river-thing. He can't die unless someone hits him in the Achilles-spot. Or he is sickened, poisoned or deprived of Oxygen (so chocked in his sleep or released into outter-space, I don't know). Well, the last 3 I have to guess, but whatever. He is an extremely hard guy to kill. Plus he falls in that category of if-you-try-to-kill-me-I-will-try-to-kill-you-but-then-let-you-go. And did I mention he looses very few fights?

4) He's amnesiac!

So Percy and Jason, are walking threw New York or whatever. Then POOF, BBG (big bad guy/gal) pops out, erases their memory. BBG picks them up, after 3 days of holding them captive he/she drops Jason off in the first monster equiped ônibus escolar he/she sees, since the monster can just capoot Jason for him/her since he/she (I'm going to start calling he/she "it" now) is too lazy or can't do it, makes everyone there believe Jason doesn't belong, except for Hedge, 'cause he 'aint falling for it. And then it goes to drop of Percy in another location, maybe Canada (I really want to see Canada in this series, its not that far from the US, AND the cover shows Jason, Leo and Piper, plus their friend the big friendly seat-warmer equiped dragon in front of a canadian building).

So basically there's some green-eyed kid wondering what the Hades his name is, how he got in that train, why he's in holding hands with a cute brunete chick (die cute brunette trick chick) and what's up with the pen he's carying. :D

5) Either he was confused, he's had a big attitude change (:O) or camp has done something so terribly wrong (like accepting roman kiddies and making Neptune bunk with Poseidon?), he ran away from NYC. I know, I know, its SO unPercy-like, especially that he loves Annabeth too much, the gods would kill him, and that there's Tyson, Grover, Rachel, Paul and his mom to count in, but maybe a god of some emotion messed his seaweed-brain up.

So I'm going to elaborate mais on numba 1.

a) What was he doing?
b) With who was he doing it and what happened to those whos?
c) Motives for getting kidnapped?

A) What was he doing?

1) Percy is MIA.
That's Missing In Action. There is precedent. Remember in Battle of the labyrinth? When he went to Calypso's? He was qualified as MIA and presumed dead? Anyways, how I see it, he was on a quest, in a fight or collecting demigods.

2) Oops, forgot to lock Hyperion up. No worries, lets send Percy and a few others to fix it! *3 days later* Camps gets a Mayday call.

Yeah, that's actually - no. The titans wont be playing a big role in this series guys, no need to worry about getting caught on old granpa Kronos' yard. For now.

3) Playing find-the-demigod

Remember how Hermes gave, in memory of Luke, the addresses of his other demigod children to Percy? I reckon, Seaweed brain took it personally, and got at least one of them back to cmap himself.
So did he pull a TC-Annabeth? Go down to get demigods to camp? It's a possibility. Of course Butch didn't have time to say if he knew what'd happened to him (cliff-ending, grr).

4) Nothing

He was walking to school when he got teleported to some aleatório place. It's a possibility! He was minding his own beeswax (on a encontro, data with Annabeth :O ...so sad...) when BAM BBG strikes! Hey, that's how it nearly always goes down, 'aint it?

B) With who was he doing it and what happened to those who's?

Not Annabeth I can tell you that. I can also say that I am pretty sure that it was not camper that is presently at camp in good condition. Because then...

a) They'd know (or at least have guesses about) who captured him. Doye. It's been three days, unless its torture-a-blond-architects week, they'd have retrieved him already from whoever has him.
b) However it happened, the abduction didn't go like:
BBG: Perseus Jackson, come with me!
Percy: Okay!

Sot there was a STRUGLE and most likely a FIGHT. If Percy lost, whoever was with him, so fighting at his sides, probbaly wasn't in very good condition.

But we do have 1 camper we know for sure isn't doing so great. Jason _inser-unknown-last-name_, who, in case you've missed that, has no memory of anything. I am pretty sure he has had some form of training (and being against the Roman-camp idea I must assume it is Camp Half-Blood). Percy's a nice guy, ocnsidering Jason isn't a son of Ares, they probably got along well. They could've been together when he got kidnapped.

We can also spitball the names of old campers. Grover, the Stolls, Clarisse (kidnapped Clarisse... Dang Jason and his guys are in trouble!), Chris, Jake Masson etc, since they (^) fight well with Percy (if you disagree with me on this, please go read LO).

We can also say, completely-new-and-random campers! Look, we're going to get mais demigods then EVER before here. Hecate (:D), Hebe, Nemesis, Janus, Hypnos etc. Odds are, Percy made new friends and found mais combat buddies.

Plus, if he was on a quest, Percy would have other campers with him, right? I'm pretty sure his first choice at a fighter, Annabeth, wasn't there. Meaning Percy could be, this time, not the leader. The quest might have something to do mais with a minor half-blood, right? Or he didn't pick Annabeth because it was too dangerous (yeah, she's always put that as a :S) or to let her build Olympus, or because other demis would be mais useful. Either way, keep the possibilities open!

Also, one mais thing I want to mention at htis rate this article's going to be my longest ever!) I heard a theory that loved ones of important demigods are being kidnapped.
a) Percy was kidnaped to :( Annabeth
b) Mr Piper's-dad was kidnapped to :O Piper

And we could elaborate that Chris would go missing just fr the sake of angering Clarisse, that one of the Stoll's might be missing etc, etc.

What happened to those whose?

The same thing that happened to Percy I assume. That, or the BBG doesn't care for them and left them there. SO...
a) Running around America amnesiac
b) Dead :'(
c) MIA
d) Severely injured somewhere
e) At camp amnesiac
f) BBG didn't take the risk and decided to take them to keep Percy company. Key, no, not to keep Seaweed brain company, but just to have them all. OR she rather have that demigod, and brought Percy along. A lot of things work boh ways!

C) Motives for getting kidnapped

Guys, do I really need to start this? It's freakin PERCY JACKSON. From what I get, only nice, non-kidnapping gods like Percy. Amongst his ennemies and people who don't like him (not all, remember Athena!) are immortals and monsters that wouldn't say no to kidnapping.

BUT (there's always a but, remmember that)

I have a thoery of my own I do like a lot.

Yeah, yeah, I've said it everywhere. But the "an oath to keep with a final breath" could be reffering to the oath of a MAIDDEN GODDESS.
A) Athena
B) Hera
C) Artemis
D) Hestia

A) Athena has children por thought, litteral brain kids. Do I see that changing? Ye-no.

B) Hera isn't really a maidden goddess. She has Hephaestus, Eris, Ares and Hebe, who are all immortals, and children of Zeus, her husband. Only reason she has no demigod children (NO IT'S NOT BECAUSE SHE CAN'T GET A DATE) is because she's faithful, which is a refreshing change. Why does she feel she needs to stay faithful while her husband does the complete opposite? Well, she's the goddess of mariage. Marriage is a type of oath, and she doesn't want to break that oath. But let's see after...
1 Artemis and Apollo
2 Athena
3 Dionysus
4 Heracles (Hercules)
5 The muses (9 of them)
6 Hellen of Troy/Sparta
7 Thalia

And I have NO CLUE how many others (notice Jason isn't in the list), she's probably hurt. She might've figured "Heck, he doesn't like me, I bet someone on earth does" and a ano or so later, little Emma or Jimmy is running around.

C) Turn off this computer right now and go read every page where the name "Artemis" is mentioned in TC. Actually, go read it twice. Now tell me you honenstly think she ever fell in love. If you did...
a) She travels! Even if her coração did flutter she wouldn't stay long enough for a relashionship to build.
b) For the Hunter's sakes, I think she'd refuse to love, or deny to herself that she does. I mean, the hunters are like her daughters to her. She'd do anything for them, or any maidden actually (*cough* Atlas' boulder! *cough*)
c) S'posse she DID have a relashionship going, how would the hunters not know? She's either witht he hunters, on Olympus, doing her own hunting (which I don't think she'd skip) or writting that damn news-letter Apollo wants to get. Of course the hunters would know! And for their sake, she'd put an end to it. I mean, doing the thing they swore to her they wouldn't do? Yeah.

C) I really do think Hestia would make a great mother! (No its not just because she's my 2nd fave goddess after guess-who) She seems like the type of person who can be really carring. And isn't there a saying, "home is where the family is"? Goddess of home, guys, you know where I'm going with this...

Plus the fact she's so quiet and subtle adds to her, if not MAKES her charm. I see a man falling for Hestia, it already hapened *cough* Poseidon *cough* Apollo *cough*, and eventually her coração will flutter.

Why am I mentioning the maidden goddesses? Because, remember how Percy made the gods swear that they'd claim their kids por age 13? If Percy died, someway, somehow, the oath will die with him unless Zeus makes it permannet. A maidden goddess would get in serious trouble if it was revealed she had demigod children (don't get me started on the kid!), but if it was never revealed... Ahh...

Hestia wouldn't do that, Artemis doesn't dislike Percy that much (who can blame her? He rocks!), Hera... Well, she is listed as a big lost Hero personality...

Am I right? Am I wrong? Am I way off? Did Annabeth change her boyfriend to another kid called Percy Jackson? (I know I'm wrong on that one), who knows? (Rick, his wife, the lucky Riordan kids, Zeus, Hera, Percy, Jason, key I'll stop now)

The dia will come when the book is out for us soon, and as I, Hecate, is ending this article, we have 25 days worth of waiting. So get yourselves comfortable and breka otu that can of patiente you've been saving up (I lost mine).

We all know the new series will revolve around the new Great Prophecy Rachel made in the end of The Last Olympian. Nobody can be sure what it means, but these are some theories and opinions about its meaning.

"Seven halfbloods should answer the call
The meaning of this line seems quite obvious. The problem is who are the seven halfbloods? The new characters we met in the sample chapters - Jason, Leo and Piper - are most likely to lead the group. Rick Riordan promised he wouldn't throw too many new characters at us, so we may meet some old characters from PJO, such as Thalia, Nico, Clarrise,...
