Can Gajeel's info really be helpful towards the dragões dissapearance?

Remember in episode 29 My Resolve, when Gajeel said, "So both dragons, vanished seven years ago, ano X777, on the seventh dia of the seventh month..." before he could finish, Natsu blurted out, "Hey, what's with all the sevens!".Gajeel might be on to something. I'm only at episode 114 and don't read the mangá so I don't know if the dragões have already been found por the dragonslayers, Wendy might have important info too, so if you know anything please tell me.

(P.S. I remember that short screen-time the dragões had, Igneel looked like he was in a cage made of lava, I hope the dragões haven't been kidnapped! Erm... Dragonnapped!)
