Paul, George, and Ringo talked about what they could do to keep John seguro from Mark David Chapman. Ringo said, "We could hide him somewhere." George said, "That's all very well, but that's easier said than done. Where would we hide him? Londres doesn't have a lot of hiding places." Paul remarked, "Who said it had to be in London?" George and Ringo looked at Paul, waiting to hear his suggestion. Paul said, "I have a farm in Scotland. John could stay at my place." Ringo said, "Brilliant, Paul! Scotland is miles away from London." George nodded in agreement. Later, Paul, George, and Ringo told...

July 11, 1957. Less than one full dia left to get Paul and John to meet each other.
I had been quiet all morning, alternating between hoping things would work out and hoping I wouldn’t randomly get sucked back into the present in front of Paul and his family. Paul had told his dad and brother at breakfast that I was leaving today, and they’d said polite goodbyes (or what I presumed were polite goodbyes; I still wasn't entirely used to nineteen fifties etiquette). Their inboxes were flooded with fanmail. Their vídeos were viewed and their tracks downloaded millions of times per day. The Beatles loved their fãs and would respond to as much of the fan...

John couldn’t sleep.
All night long, that awful video, the sound of those gunshots, kept playing through his head. John tossed and turned, and whenever he did fall into an uneasy sleep, the memories would get worse, and he had troubled dreams in which he was actually killed, or that one of his mates tried to save him and was killed instead, and he would wake up again in a cold sweat.
It seemed like morning would never come, but eventually it did, bringing with it its own set of problems. The last thing John wanted to do was to leave the house and face his mates, possibly endangering them, or...

One day, John opened his laptop, and he was checking his e-mail. He saw a message titled "Attention John!" It caught his attention. He opened it, and the message said, "Hello, John. My name is Hazel. I have been a fã since the release of Please Please Me back in 1963. I know there have been some issues, but you need your mates now mais than ever." John replied, "This isn't a prank, is it?" Hazel replied back, "No, John, this isn't a prank. I'm afraid you might be in danger." He said, "Danger? What kind of danger?" She said, "I just saw a video of a man who plans to kill you." John was still...
