Its like the Twitards traded in one vampire obsession for another (although atleast they are upgrading to an actual vampire this time) but they bring their fangirl lunacy with it unfortunately. Don't get me wrong, I've read the books and I think they are decent. However the CW effect (gorgeous teenagers, bad dialogue, shallow storytelling, ect) hangs very heavily over the shows head. I haven't seen one episode yet that's scenes haven't been altered to shove the latest shameless music plug into the background. posted over a year ago.

Exactly, says a lot about SE that they ARE a couple and not even as popular...xD Anyway, I think people's answers are biased whether they want to believe it or not. If you really like a couple a lot, and they are your OTP and your OTP happens to be popular, then OF COURSE you are going to believe the popularity of your couple is well deserved. If you hate a couple that is really popular then you aren't going to believe their popularity is well deserved and are "overrated". If you like a couple but you don't love them a lot then of course some people are going to say they are overrated. So believe it or not, I admit I'm biased when I say I think DE isn't overrated. Also, yeah there may be some DE fans that act Twihardy, but singling DE fans out? That isn't fair. There are fans that act Twihardy, whether they are DE/SE/DB fans. What I was saying is that some fanbases are slightly more rabid then others, I'm not saying everyone in the club is like that, but compared to other clubs they have more than there fair share. Its what makes some clubs more 'outspoken' than others, whereas some others can be considered more quietly devoted, and reserved. These "outspoken" clubs are the ones that usually fight other fans in the SAME FANBASE for having a different opinion, whereas other more grownup fanbases would see internal fighting (for the most part) absolutely ludicrous, and if they did disagree with something, its usually never carried outside of the confines of that club. Its NOT just the TVD community either, the same behavior can be seen in many communities here; OTH, Gossip Girl, ect. All are notorious for they're internal drama. From a non TVD fans perspective, the few crazies make a label for your entire fanbase. And a couple of those crazies unfortunately are the same ones (or just as bad) as some of the Twilight fan community that has made a name for itself for being a very aggressive outspoken community. posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago

But I've also grown to love Delena, but come on, they're not even together, yet they are far more popular than Stelena, and I'm pretty sure that's because of Damon. And that leaves Stelena, a very legit TVD couple, in the background. They got together too soon, they say. Yes, I completely agree; there should have been more build up! But I don't understand, why people immediately accuse a happy couple of being boring. I, for once, like to see two persons just be together without constant over the top drama.
