Gwen's POV
"Oh, h-hi Courtney." I stuttered. Courtney shot daggers at me. "Gwen, congratulations on your victory." she congratulated me. Wow, that was really OOC (Out of Character) "Um, thx Court." I tried to be calm. I was unpacking my draws when Courtney pushed me to the mural and held a faca to my neck. "But, even though you've won a challenge, you haven't won Duncan's heart." she informed me. I rolled my eyes as she removed the faca from my the surface of my neck. "Y'know Courtney, what. is. your. deal!? I mean, first of all we're just friends, and you two broke up yesterday, remember?" I informed her back. "Mmm, Duncan and I always have fights, but just watch, he'll be crawling back before you know it, so don't get comfy." she stated. I had a frustrated look on my face. I didn't want to believe her, but I am pretty convinced that they have had their arguments and have gotten back in a jiffy. I thought Duncan really liked me. No, I can't give in to her. I had to make her believe that I believed her. "Um, yeah Courtney, you're probably right. I should back off." I tried to sound convincing. Courtney looked satisfied. "That's great! I hope we can get this friendship back on track." I smiled at fake smile at her. Then, she left. I heard a knock on the cabine window. I turned around and saw Duncan on the outside of the window. I rushed over there and slid up the glass up. "Duncan, what are you doing here." I asked him. "Just wanted to ask you something. Something that I really wanted to ask you that night at the dock." he started.
"What is it?"
Duncan crawled in through the window, pulled me close to him, and held my waste. I blushed.
"Gwen, from the moment I saw you on the island, I knew that-"
He was interrupted por the door slamming open. Man, why are we always interrupted? Crap! Potenza came in with a big camera crew. They just stared at us. "Um, may I help you?" Duncan asked as he was still holding my waist. "Oh, just carry on and pretend like we're not here." Chris informed us. Duncan smiled at me. "I'll talk to you later pasty." When Duncan left, the cameras focused on me. "So Gwen, what's going on between you and Duncan?" Chris asked. "Out!" I screamed at him. They all left as I rolled my eyes. Duncan walked in again through the front door. "You're still here?" I asked. "Gwen, nothing is going to keep me from what I wanted to say this time. He held my waist again. He looked dead serious.
"Gwen, from the moment I saw you on the island, I knew that you were the one for me. You are so beautiful, smart, caring, funny, thoughtful-" Before he could continue, I pulled him in and kissed him. He kissed me back. I peaked open one eye and saw a camera recording us but I didn't care. We finally pulled away. Duncan flirtatiously smiled at me. I smiled back. "I knew you liked me pasty." he joked again. I rolled my eyes at him. "Yeah, I really do." I admitted it. We went back to beijar and pulled away after 10 seconds. "Well, I gotta get back to my cabin. See you around babe." He then exited the area. It was time to eliminate a Screaming Salamander. I hope it's Courtney. The whole killer canguru team came to say their goodbyes to the leaving player. The Salamanders cast their votes. Everyone got a marshmallow except for 2 players so far, Courtney and Ezekiel. I was praying to Courtney to get the boot, but it was Ezekiel's turn to go. I sighed while Duncan walked up behind me and whispered, "Don't sweat it babe, she'll be gone in a week." he informed me. I smiled at my new boyfriend.
