"Tune in Tamara: After playing Jessica for eight years, Tamara Tunie left the show in 1995. But the actress's recent return to the familiar set was almost like stepping into a time machine. 'It was surreal on some level because it will be five years in January since I left the show. I went into rehearsal and I was with Scott Holmes [Tom], Benjamin Hendrickson [Hal] and Ellen Dolan [Margo], and Dan Hamilton is directing and Vivian Gundaker is producing, and it's like I never left,' she says. 'There were completely familiar faces, and it's not like the character of Jessica was gone, so they didn't say, 'Welcome back,' or 'How was your trip?' [in the scenes],' notes Tunie, who was replaced por JoAnna Rhinehart while she was away. 'I just walked into the police station and started talking like the last time they saw me was yesterday. So it's like five years of my life vanished!'"
