He's using his abilities AGAINST demons, so please just explain to me how is Sam heading towards a dark road when all that he does is right!..

Thanks Dean-girlz. I couldn't have said it better myself. DEMON POWERS!! Key word being DEMON!!Thats what makes it so bad. He is also killing humans when he kills demons. Remember demons take over a human body.The human is still there.I think it will come down to Sam and Dean fighting each other at some point.Hope not. And if so I hope Sam uses his head and does the right thing.

Is Sam the only one who kills humans possessed by demons? It's what Sam and Dean have been doing for all their lifes.. He's drinking demon blood to get stronger..otherwise, there's no way he could save Dean, himself or anyone else. He's using demon powers against demons, isn't it? yes, it's TERRIBLE! I'm not saying that it's ok, but tell me the way out of this. As long as Sam kills demons and uses his abilities AGAINST them, he's not doing a bad thing.

I'm with you, Natalie88! If Sam's powers were angelic, rather than demonic, and were increasing in exactly the same way as his demonic powers, and let's say he was siphoning off "angel grace" to do it, then he would be considered nothing but good, right? Or better still, let's hypothesize that it was Dean doing that - he'd be right up there with God in popular opinion, I'm sure? Well....look at Uriel!! He was an angel, and he turned against his own. Even worse, his goal was to raise Lucifer - the ultimate evil. A divine being going bad - who would have thought??

So because Sam's powers are demonic in nature, we can assume that he is headed only for evil, that there is no way he could go good, because he's a demon? Well....look at Uriel!!

it's true 67impala. What if Dean was in Sam's place... would he still remain your "messiah"? Let's imagine - Dean drinks demon blood,he's going "dark side," sleeps with a demon and hides secrets from Sam.. no one would say these disgusting things about him, sure he would still be a hero and everyone would find lots of reasons to justify his activities, won't they? :(( and just because Sam's abilities are called demonic, NOBODY wants to see the other side. Just open your eyes and see something except Dean!

I would have to say that I would NOT like it if Dean was in the same boat as Sam. Don't get me wrong I like Sam. The show wouldn't be the same with out him. But I just think that him using demonic powers will be bad for him in the long run. There is going to be something really bad come of it. Or on the other hand it may work out to be good for them. It's hard to say.I just get a bad feeling about him using his powers.I was shocked when I found out what Dean had been doing when he was in hell.
