the first fusion ever was when goku and vegeta fusioned using the fusion dance.it was during the majjin buu saga goku and vegeta were getting beaten badly then goku remembered what piccolo had told him the fusion dance.then goku taught vegeta the fusion dance first it didnt work right because vegeta didnt have his fingers up then the seguinte time it worked but it still wasn't enough to defeat majjin buu so yhey used the potara earings and used the final kamehameha to finish him off for now.
