I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Nancy and Jonathan kiss in Stranger Things 2 - 'Jancy' Hook Up in Episode 6
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Celebrity Parents and Kids Dressing Like Twins
Warning: this post contains spoilers about
. We saw new sides of characters we\'d already judged (*cough*Steve*cough*). We said goodbye to characters we\'d grown to love (#JusticeforBob). But the scene that fans had been anticipating most since Season 1 might have been Nancy and Jonathan\'s hook up.
When we left Nancy in Season 1, she was still with Cool Jerk Steve. When we meet her again in Season 2, she\'s, well, still with Steve, but clearly much less happy about it. Her overall dissatisfaction with the relationship culminates in a drunken declaration that Steve, their relationship, and basically everything in the world, is "bullshit."
In Steve\'s defense (and if you\'ve seen Season 2, then you understand why people now feel the need to defend Steve), Nancy has a lot going on. Remember when the
creators promised #JusticeforBarb? Well, they put all of the responsibility for getting that justice on Nancy\'s shoulders.
Early in the season, Nancy and Steve have dinner with Barb\'s parents. Over dinner, the Hollands reveal their plans to sell their house to pay a private investigator to get to the bottom of Barb\'s mysterious disappearance. This is the final straw for Nancy. She\'s been sworn to secrecy about the Demogorgon and all the accompanying fallout, but that\'s meant leaving Barb\'s parents totally in the dark about what happened to her—and she doesn\'t think that\'s fair.
All this leads to a newly-single Nancy going on a journey to take down Hawkins Lab, and bringing Jonathan along for the ride. Espionage. Adventure. Intrigue. Danger. Honestly, it\'s no wonder they go from "just friends" to officially NOT just friends on this trip.
They team up with Murray Bauman, a former journalist turned conspiracy theorist/investigator who helps them turn their evidence (a surreptitiously-obtained taped confession of wrongdoing) into a plan to actually take down the lab. While staying at Murray\'s, they take advantage of the lack of parents/noisy little brothers to finally relieve all that sexual tension that\'s been building for the last year.
So what does a Jancy hookup look like? It\'s adorably uncertain at the beginning, with each of them coming out of their respective rooms and then chickening out before they finally meet and kiss. After a season and a half of will-they/won\'t-they, it\'s only fitting that their first hookup was itself a series of will-they/won\'t-they moments.
