I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Stranger Things 2: What we want to see seguinte season | EW.com
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
'Stranger Things' exclusive: Duffer Brothers reveal season 2 details
'Stranger Things' season 2 episode titles: What do they mean?
WATCH: 'Stranger Things' renewed for second season
In case you were trapped in the Upside Down and didn’t have access to WiFi, Netflix announced Wednesday that there would be a second season of their summer hit
. EW spoked exclusively to the Duffer Brothers about what they have in store for season 2 (more characters, broader scope), but here’s what
In their exclusive interview with EW, the Duffers mention thinking of the second
. Well, those films all featured heroines who evolved into full-throttle ass kickers. Maybe Joyce (Winona Ryder) can join those ranks? She clearly will stop at nothing when her kids are in danger. So now that we know the dimension door is still open and son Will (Noah Schnapp) is clearly infected with something, let’s see Joyce get all Ripley! We definitely witnessed the beginnings of Action Hero Nancy (Natalia Dyer) in season 1 when she battled the creature, but I want more, like her first shot back is Nancy crushing some burpees or something.
This lady had a rough year. Her son was abducted by an interdimensional monster. She has a really unfortunate haircut. She has a loser ex. Can we give her some love at least? Several EW staffers are shipping Joyce and Hopper (David Harbour), which I enjoy. But now that we know there are four new characters joining, I propose a love triangle. In keeping with the James Cameron theme, I could see an actor like Michael Biehn pop up as a potential love interest. He feels like he could fit in the world of Hawkins, Indiana.
The loss of Barb is devastating to us all. I think I’ll miss her stenographer-esque blouses the most. But that means we also have room for a new pal for Nancy (Natalia Dyer). I propose the Duffers steal a page from
and give her someone like Martha Plimpton’s Stef. That character basically said everything the audience wanted to say but a little bit funnier. Hawkins could use some sarcasm.
Just like there are different types of creatures in the Dungeons & Dragons game, I wanna see some weird AF monsters using the Upside Down doorway as their emergency exit into Hawkins. Like, let’s get cray with these new things,
style. Three heads. Octopus-type tentacles. Or, again to reference Cameron and
, let’s meet the queen of these monsters and see how she births these nasty thangs.
We spent a lot of time with Joyce and Nancy and Mike’s (Finn Wolfhard) parents. But we didn’t get to see the other kids home life much. I’d love to see Dustin’s (Gaten Matarazzo) and Lucas’ (Caleb McLaughlin) families. And where’s Hopper’s wife? What happened to her? Let’s maybe bring her back for a little romantic tension.
The Duffers said that season 2 would venture outside of Hawkins and, specifically, the opening scene would not be in the small town. What if it opened at the headquarters of this government experiment led by Dr. Brenner (Matthew Modine)? It could be like
. Cue action sequence where Joyce kicks butt!
