2. I feel that bad-boy/good-girl ships are too cliche for me to like most.

^cousins don't have romantic and sexual tension (unless you're talking Jon and Sansa from Game of Thrones lol). Kylo isn't really a "bad boy" either, he's a messed up, psychologically abused guy who isn't looking to corrupt Rey (,who isn't the pillar of virtue herself anyway).

And it doesn't matter if people like it anyway since it's already canon.

It's called red herrings. Trying to trick viewers into thinking that the story is going one way then going another. And you say that cousins never have romantic tension - remember that this is the fandom which built up a potential ship then revealed that they were twin siblings!

I meant that "male villain redeemed by the love of the heroine" was cliche and stereotypical. That also falls in the bad boy/good girl category imo.

Also, canon means that they would have been together romantically - they dated, they kissed, they confessed that they love each other romantically etc. Not just that they had some scenes which could be interpreted in a romantic light.

Is there something so appealing about a whiny out of control psycho murdered falling in love in a matter of seconds, minutes, or a day that's based on nothing??? If there is... seek and help and fast, you may have a mental disorder because your excuses are just sad...
