Why do YOU like playing Spyro?

What is it about Spyro games that you love?

For me, it's mostly the following:
1, You can pretty much go anywhere you want on a lot of levels.
2, The games put you right there in the middle of the action.
3, It's about dragons! And fantasia in general. :)

the games are just unique and interesting to play. my first spyro game was on the gameboy and even then, i thought it was really fun. no matter how old spyro gets, it will still be worth remembering:)
