Spider-Man Showdown: Sony Releases an Official Statement to Clarify Its disney Relationship 

I’m honestly not that disappointed in this news. The MCU version of Spider-man had A LOT of problems. Uncle Ben was non-existent (You know, the driving force behind Peter’s actions and becoming Spider-man), they tried to replace Uncle Ben with Tony Stark, they cast Zendaya (Who has ZERO talent) in the role of the leading lady, continue to give Mary Jane sh*t treatment in live-action, Harry Osborne isn’t even there, the really iconic Spider-man villains haven’t made an appearance, I hate that they are continuing to have Peter be a high school student instead of a college student or someone in his 20's, and I loathe how they made Peter a Tony Stark fanboy that blindly looks up to him. While it’s better than the Raimi films, the Webb films were MUCH better (I know, blasphemy). Just my opinion.
