Well, Rouge is kinda of a tomboy even though she likes girly things like jewelry. But Amy, CReam, and Cosmo? Definitely NOT tomboys.

Amy is a tomboy! But she showed it when she was younger, just like at how she's dressed! But now that she's older she's a tomboy TRYING to act like a girly-girl >_> seriously, get your facts right!

Blaze, Sally, Julie-Su, Shade, Wave and Fiona are sure as heck tomboys. Amy, Sonia, Bunnie and Merna are half tomboy and half girly girl. People say Rouge is also half tomboy and half girly girl, and I see why. And the most tomboyish imo is Julie-Su. I know most fans think it's Blaze, but even she has girly traits such as liking ballet, being elegant and graceful and she even wears a dress. Julie on the other hand is the stereotypical "though girl fighter" trope and wear shorts.

Also Amy is more tomboyish than Rouge. Rouge is meant to be a "femme fatalle". But Amy was indeed intended by Sega to be a tomboy, in her first appearance she was described as an "optimistic tomboy" and she has some tomboyish traits such as love of fighting. Sure, she became girly but that doesn't mean she's not a tomboy anymore, she is more like a "girly tomboy". This is also something it happened to me, I was a tomboy as a child but as I grew into a teenager I became more girly. But I still remained tomboyish to an extent, I skateboard, play video games and I'm interesed in martial arts, even tho I also like cute clothes, jewelery, make-up and the color pink.
