So over a while I’ve rped and gotten to know quite a few Sonic fã Characters, and I amor a lot of them, but which ones do I like the best? Well let’s go over some stuff first.

There were a lot of characters to go through. Your characters aren’t bad because they aren’t on this list. YES this does mean that I liked these characters more, and I won’t deny it, but here’s some reasons why.
~I have known most of these characters for a VERY long time, which allowed them to make a large impact on characters of mine, and how much I enjoyed them. I have met other characters recently, but I’m keeping this to characters I’ve known for at least two months. In the future your characters may surpass these, and I know my opinion has changed on who is my favorito over the years.
~For those who have known the characters a long time, it could also be that they disappeared too long atrás or too soon to have a big enough impact. An example would be Sypro the Hedgehog. I loved the character, but I never had actual personal moments with him in rps or pics or anything, so while he is cool in my opinion, I can’t give a whole lot of reasons why he would be a favorite.

Aside from that, sorry if anyone is offended, I might write down the runner’s up in a future article. Now on to the list itself.


10. Kinomi Sapphire The Hedgehog
Not a lot of people know this, but I actually didn’t start getting interested into Sonic fã Characters on Fanpop. Actually is started in DeviantArt. The character “Kinomi” was the first Sonic fã Character that caught my interest. The composição literária for her stories was interesting, and while it did go along with the game-universe, instead of the comics which I normally prefer, I found it very fun to read, and even printed one of the stories to come back to. Kinomi is basically a descendant of Sonic in the timeline, and the mother of Silver, and while it does seem really cliché it seemed to work and I liked it. Now this was before I was experienced obviously, and over time I did run into mais of the… less moral parts of the Character and friends, but while I never rped with this character or anything, you don’t need to to find them interesting. So I basically owe this one the reason I got so interested. Next.

9.    Sara… and ALL THOSE OTHER CHARACTERS!
WAY back on this club, does anyone remember when Sara used to make SO MANY rp’s? This was back when I was testing out Rin, like when her name was just “Identity”. I think the first rp I did with Sara’s characters involved Karaoke and Roxanne. MANY characters popped up, literally out of nowhere, and while it did get on my nerves from time to time (*coughTaDahcough*), they were fun to rp with, and Sara the dog was one of the characters that took part in the Mobius Academy Forums, and is now in the series of Mobius Academy. I won’t go specifically into each character, but I couldn’t it to one seeing how some were almost identical. Sara, Thunder, Roxanne, Cupid, Bubbles (YES YOU NAMED HER BUBBLES, Y U DROP THE S?) They’re all a load of fun. So thanks Sara (Yes I know that’s not your real name X{D) for the fun characters.

8.    Ultra the hedgehog
So this is a bit mais recent, but not por much. There were two users in that time with characters like this, ShadowWolf, and Ultrax. Shadowwolf had cool characters, but he disappeared after a while, to come back later. In the meantime came Ultra. Now Ultra… I’ll have to admit I started to get negative towards after a while, but I still had fun. The idea behind his heritage and his abilities which got wider in amount over time. A green hoodie-jacket hedgie who couldn’t stay away from love-problems, Ultra might have been annoying at times, but I’m pretty sure I was just getting too annoyed. I’d say mais about the character, but you’d have to ask the creator himself for the details.

7.    Casey Miller
This character is hilarious and fun. Casey is a somewhat rich-kid Blue hedgehog girl, who will get your name wrong, get ticked off easily, and will make searching for… certain… things (You know which Rp) a journey and adventure (still weirded out por that rp but oh well). Now are these things bad? NO! They make Casey so much fun to do stuff with, and Rawrmonster is so good with showing her querks and habits without forgetting all the time like a lot of people (including me) tend to do. I haven’t seen that much of the character in fanfiction, but she’s made it into the Rasoul Saga, her own future story, and I’m definitely hoping to have her in the Mobius Academy Series, and maybe even the Identity Wars. I will never get bored of this character.

6.    Matt Gearsmo
Now Kinomi was the character that got me INTERSTED in Sonic fã Characters, but the first that actually met mine was Matt. This goes way back to when I FIRST started Fanpop. Mapware (I calls him Matt X{D) had made his own Fanfiction about the character, and while I did find it a bit hard to read, it was unique to say the least. He was a Nanite-composed watch-transforming-mobian, who had quite a list of enemies. Geno, Big Bubba, a bunch of spin-offs of these, a Time-villain, and some other interesting characters along the way; but Matt being the center of it kept my interest with him. He was all chivalrous and noble, but could get ticked off or tricked, allowing for character development, and while I kind of get the vibe that Mapware is a bit ashamed of how Matt’s turned out, I think he’s gone through amazing improvements, and I have grown to personally amor rping with the character, even if I can’t always understand the stories, which again, aren’t bad. They’re good, it’s just the style that annoys me. So why is he so low? Well because he got scrapped. He’s still epic in my opinion.

5.    Dominique
So with Rin’s test run we had Sara, but with Rynk we had Dominique. Dom is a brown hedgehog alien Zatalation, I can’t pronounce it X{D, who, before Silveranime disappeared, all but RULED the roleplay world. And it didn’t have to always be a villainous plot to deal with. It rarely even had those, which I love. The character had a variety of powers, of which I can only remember telepathy, and while certain plot-directions turned me off a bit (Dom related to Zelda plot-directions… oy), the character went from Rival to one of Rynk’s best buds pretty quickly. I only wish the rps could have had mais time to go through, as some probably remember how they would skip in the middle whenever a new one would arrive. The character now is married and has children, which is way too fast for me, but it does show that she was thought through, at least for the most part. And to topo, início it all off, the alien thing added to the coolness, because she wasn’t just some normal hedgehog like a lot of people overuse. Hope she can come back to the forums sometime soon.

4.    Now this one is a tie between Friz the hedgehog, and (This may shock some) Yxari Sadaris. Originally I had stated that Yxari was my favorito Sonic fã character of all time, and she hasn’t really decreased in how much I amor the character, it’s just that other characters got mais interesting. So now I’ll explain what anyone who still remembers the epic Acid Monsters remembers. Yxari Sadaris I can’t explain the backstory for as it’s kind of jumbled, but basically she’s one of the under-foot types. Her personality is tough-sounding, but simply out for survival. She tries to keep people out of her personal space, but can get close to those who try hard enough. And I don’t think many remember this either, but for quite some time now, Rin has seen Yxari as an older sister type, which is ironic as Acid Monsters are almost Enemies to Identities due to their acid powers. Sierra has done a fantastic job putting detail and personality into this character, and I only wish there was mais of her. She is an awesome-wolf-looking-mobian, with black and green fur, and interesting abilities with acid that’ inside her blood-stream. This has led to a lot of character information and development, and this character might not be my topo, início favorito anymore, but she will always be one of my favorites.
Now Friz from what I can tell is a Reformed villain-now-hero type. He’s hot-tempered, maybe a bit too quick, but still interesting, and I find him rather humorous. I seem to recall his abilities being Chaos-Energy related, and he is in no way a Gary-stu, despite being a powerful-type character. Friz has been given detail which is easy seeing how he’s slowly trying to figure out how to be a hero, and personally he already is one in my book. He looks pretty cool (THE PURPLE EYES!!! X{D) and I amor the randomness that can happen around him. I’d write more, but he’s been through the same vanishing virus that seems to be spreading through characters recently.

3. Blood
So… Yeah, ShadowWolf disappeared for a bit, and I didn’t really look into his characters back then, but when he came back I tried doing a Blood rp, and it got me REALLY interested. Blood is an laranja raposa turned Vampire, and it’s awesome. His story involves a lot of time stuff, including having his son pop up at around Blood’s fifteen-year-old years. He’s extremely powerful, but definitely not over-powered, as he can be killed, which helps to relate to him. His personality reflects on the people around him, and how he is trying to do what’s best, and protect everyone he cares about. He doesn’t want them to leave them, and is completely selfless. I don’t care how cheesy or cliché that sounds, I like that in a character regardless, and Blood is a huge example. The character has made a large impact on many of my characters, especially Rynk, and I know I’m not going to get bored when rping with him. He’s an epic and lovable character that I definitely would amor to see get his own series, and would amor to have in the Identity Wars.

2. Kyle Waktini
Kyle has changed a bit like Blood over the years when it came to how interested in him I was. If I recall correctly Kyle was originally a character with a demon or something trapped inside, which led to me avoiding the character at first for moral reasons. But thankfully mais was put into the character. Kyle is now a Human turned into a hedgehog, with Nighless DNA. What is a Nighless? A Nighless is a snake-like mobian, with an energy called Rasoul. Kyle is a wielder of this energy, and is the main hero of his series. He is extremely kind-hearted, and wants nothing mais than to help those he cares for. He’s always willing to listen, and while maybe a bit slow, he’s been given a huge amount of attention to detail. This yellow hedgehog has many villains he has to go against, and despite how overpowering they seem, he still tries, and I’ll say right now is the most kind-hearted character I can think of. He has his own series (The Rasoul Saga) and I definitely plan on including him in Mobius Academy, The Identity Wars, and many other series along the way. The character grew on me very quickly; he’s just one of the characters that you just want to clobber in a group hug. He’s not a huge fighter, and he’s not extremely smart, but that is no way a bad thing. He always has someone to help him back up, and is rather clever on his own.

So, who’s my favorite? Well lets rec- HA! No… I hate recaps.

THE NUMBER ONE IS…

Grace Vonwati
Okay all of the above (Detailed, non-stu, good backstory) and more. Grace is a brown fox, with ONE original power; age manipulation. Her backstory is a life from a destroyed friendship, street-life, and being raised por an uncle until going to Mobius Academy where the epicness began. I met this character almost a ano atrás now in the FIRST Mobius Academy Forum, and I have practically fallen in amor (Metaphorically >__<). At first she’s a hard shell to crack, and with good reason, but extremely caring for those she cares about, which is hard to do. I amor rping with this character mainly because she isn’t the type to get cocky and over-confident, but doesn’t just sit about and mope. She is the closest of any friend to Rynk, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. She has expert fighting, mele-weapon, and archery skills, and weilds a scythe. I am also extremely proud to have her coupled with one of my own characters, as I am quite sure she would be called for had I not taken the opportunity soon enough. And unlike some other characters, romance is not her goal. She is not looking for a boy, so the fact that it happened shows that she goes through the process slowly and correctly. Her relationships with characters like Craiger, Rynk, and of course Dante, are extremely powerful in my opinion. With Craiger I picture it as a form of respect for each other, and partners who would dive straight into danger together staying por the other’s side. With Rynk it’s a sisterhood, as Grace is the older of course, protective, and is mais patient than with other people. And with Dante, it is an extremely complicated process of two people who were once such close friends, until a betrayal that still keeps them from reconciling. I can’t put into words half of the things I want to say about this character, I actually can’t. I’m not just trying to put in filler, I actually can’t put them into words. This character, and the amazing creator behind it, are amazing, and I only hope that they will become an even larger part of the Sonic fã Universe.



So yep, that’s it. I know some are disappointed, but I’m sure that another person considers one of yours a favorite. There’s quite a few people here. To those who made the list I hope I got your characters right, I’m pretty sure I got a lot wrong, but this is all from what I’ve personally seen of them.

And even if some characters didn’t make the list, I assure you that I have at least twenty mais I am proud to have met, and I would amor to continue seeing.
