Well you could see it like this. There are no bad singers. But there are different kind of singers. Singers who can/should perform on stage and on tv and singers who should sing with friends or on parties or at home. At least, I see it that way. I'm mais a home-singer haha :P

It's not that you can't sing, it's that you don't sing. I'm sure that if you had a cantar teacher and you practised hard enought then you could be a good singer. You may not have the most beautiful voice, but you can achieve anything with practice!

Yes. Anyone who screams or belts all the time are not good singers. If the continue to do this (ex. Katy Perry and Kelly Clarkson) then they will blow out their vocal chords and will never be able to sing again. Look at Julie Andrews for an example. She had an amazing vocal but after one really belty musical, she had her vocal chords ripped out and can't sing anymore. Another example of a bad singer is someone who can't stay on pitch or rythme. Most of the people on American Idol that don't make it in have this. It just sounds crappy. The other qulities are dependent on opinion. Like nasily, country, rock, or pop. A few amazing singers are Beyonce, Carrie Underwood, Mariah Carrie, and others.
