Yes, I have!
It's such a waste of my money. The cover is very nice though :P As a huge fun of the series I thought I'd amor it or at least LIKE it. I expected the characters to be in it, talk their relationships, make observant comments on their sex lives and just... have fun like in the show!

But the main characters aren't even in it. The screenwriters created our four girls!
Carrie is in the book, yeah, but she is so...bitchy! While in the show she's such a sweetheart.

The book was a huge disappointment to me, it's so dull, I have no idea how SATC creators could make such an awesome show out of it!

Don't waste your time on it, it's not worth it.

I was also pretty disappointed. While the show is so memorable with tons of great lines, I expected the book to be witty and smart, just like Carrie's columns. But the book was totally forgettable. I agree with "Blue" that it's quite the disappointment.

Being the SATC expert that I am, I thought I should read the book that started the whole thing. Boy was I disappointed - the book was very poorly written; a lot of unhappy people having shallow sex - nothing funny, nothing iconic, nothing fashionable. And after leitura the book, I wonder why anyone would think this would make a good TV series - but the genius of Michael Patrick King and of course the actresses, are what make SATC what it is. Since the book is loosely followed through the first season, Bushnell had to get credit, but skip the book - it's trash.
