Happy Valentine's dia Everyone! I just thought I should write something for Valentine's :) I really suck at composição literária fluff-ness, so here's the best I can do.

He smiled at her, his six-year-old blue eyes shining brighter than the sky, and took out a card from his pocket.
She stared at him, her golden locks flowing in the air that sunny morning.
"Here," he handed the card to her and said sheepishly.
"What is it?"
"My mom told me to give this to a girl today," he explained, "I couldn't think of anyone but you." He chuckled a bit and his cheeks turned a faint shade of pink.
She opened the card to see what was written, "Happy Valentine's Day"
***
They were eight, and he was in a phase where he hated girls. Serena and Blair were the only exception but he tried to not get anywhere near physical contact with them.
It was a play date. Blair wasn't there, no matter how much she wanted to, because her mom had a party to attend and wanted her to come along.
Nate was feeding the ducks when Serena gave him a sudden peck on his right cheek.
"Ew! Serena!" he yelled and quickly wiped the spot where his skin and Serena's young lips met. "What was that?"
"It's Valentine's dia silly!" she giggled. "And besides, it was just a kiss."
Nate and Serena locked they're eyes, and he was blushing. "B-b-but you have cooties.."
***
"Serena!" he yelled out to her as she was walking down the street, her little baby brother and his nanny walking beside her.
He caught up to her already glorious 10-year-old self, gave her a flor and a huge teddy urso hug.
"What's up with you?" she asked curiously.
"It's February 14th!" he smiled. "Happy Valentine's Day!"
"Oh," she suddenly grinned.
***
"Happy Valentine's Day, S," he said and gave her a kiss on the cheek. He was 13 and girls everywhere are already noticing him.
"You too Natie," she said and smiled brightly at him. He returned the smile but his hands were busily taking something out from his backpack. Chocolates.
"Here, I know it's your favorite," he grins with confidence.
Serena took the box of Godiva chocolates delightedly and hugged him.
"And oh," Nate whispered in her ears. "Don't tell about this to Blair."
"Why not?"
"Well, Valentine's kind of our thing. You and I."
***
The ano that Serena wasn't in town. The ano she left for boarding school. Leaving him.
It was the ano that Blair yelled at him for not remembering--it was Valentine and without her, he doesn't really see anything special in it.
***
He plays with her golden curls and they stare into each others eyes. They kiss and laugh and then, mais kissing.
"Don't you just amor Valentine?" he muses. "You can just feel the amor in the air."
"You're such a romantic Natie," she giggles.
"What? Don't you amor it too?" he arcs an eyebrow.
"I guess so," she shrugs, "It's not really a real holiday. People still go to classes, and work. It's basically like any other day."
He moves his face progressivo, para a frente and they were barely an inch away from each other, "No, it's our dia Serena."
