The essence of old age had dawned upon Arthur. A feeling quite alien to him. He sat in the small living room of the Burrow, one leg on topo, início of the other he sat leitura the latest news in the Daily Prophet.SIX CAULDRONS EXPLODED por TROUBLEMAKER screamed the headline. Arthur intently sought to read the article, but was disturbed when he heard a sudden outburst of laughter and a slight giddy protest. "Ron don't you dare!! I just got my dress ironed! I don't want to look like a ragga queque, muffin when we tell them!!"
"Mum already knows," was Ron's reply.
"Yes well your father doesn't know! Harry and Ginny don't know or Bill and Fleur, George and ANgelina, Percy and Audrey and not to forget Charlie!"
"Alright alright. Jeez Mione."
Arthur was now curious 'What could they possibly have to say?'
The house slowly started filling with the much awaited guests.
Everyone enjoyed a hearty jantar of the delicacies
Molly had prepared. The sounds of happy chatter and the clinking of cutlery on the white china plates.
A sudden clinking noise diverted all eyes to the fonte of the sound... Ron.
"Hermione and I have an announcement to make."
Ron gently helped Hermione up, his hand clutched onto her arm.
"Ron and I are getting married".
Harry grinned, Percy's eyes widened as well as Charlie's. George who was perpetually shocked dropped a forkful of macaroni onto Angelina's lap, Ginny's mouth opened in shock and as if to save Ron and Hermione from the awkward stares from the crowd, Arthur rose from his assento and gave Ron a mighty pat on the back.
"Congratulation son."
Arhtur looked at his son's smiling face. Ron had grown up to look so much like his younger self except the fact that Ron was slightly thinner than he was, but he also saw something that Arthur unfortunately never had in him, the immense determination in doing the best for those whom he loved. Sure Arthur was a loving husband and a good father but he always had a mais patient air about him unlike Ron who probably and now even mais strongly believed that you only live once so why wait?
Which made Arhtur proud of having a son like him.
'No doubt he'll do us proud' thought Arhtur
