The design is grand, exotic and detailed but it didn't feel stuffed. Also there's also bits of nature on every corner. The sort of thing that would get me really.

ChasmX picked North's Workshop:
North's workshop. I'd really, really, really love to visit North's place. It's architecture is superb and I love how it's carved right into an ice cliff. North's office is the best. The walls are ice and I love the door with it's many carvings. When his office door was closed in the movie (The scene where he asks Jack about his center), the screens on the door were made to look like ice blocks and it gave the feel that you were surrounded by ice. I'm not a fan of cold temperatures, but it was just beautiful. North's workshop is full of symbolic carvings, yetis, elves, cookies, eggnog, and magical toys that fly. It gives the feel of a large castle and it probably has tons of secret rooms. It'd love to stay at North's place.

I wish they had attempted Sandy's sand island because I've seen it in the children's picture book and it looks absolutely fantastic. Sandy's sand island would be my TOP favorite place to stay. It looks warm and cozy. Perfect place for sleeping. I'd also love to see Mim's place. I saw it in the picture books and it looks beautiful. Mim has the perfect view of the Earth in his palace. I hope they make a ROTG 2. I bet seeing Mim's place and Sandy's Sand Island in a movie would blow my mind. XD

In conclusion:

Best sleepover place= Sandy's Sand Island

Best place to hang out, go adventuring, or just have a yummy feast made by yetis= North's Workshop

Best place with the best view out your window= Mim's Palace on the Moon

ChasmX picked North's Workshop:
Sure, Bunnymund's Warren is pretty and all but too many details were left out:

1. Where do you sleep?
2. Where do you eat and WHAT do you eat? Does Bunnymund know how to cook? In the book Bunnymund was obsessed with chocolate. Sure, I like chocolate but I certainly don't want to be eating that every day. DX
3. What is there to do besides painting eggs? Egg painting can get boring. His place looks great for running around, having a picnic, playing tag or something but with all those eggs running all over the place how do you have space to do anything?
4. I like the carvings and symbolism on the egg guardians but that's about it...

Same thing with Tooth's Palace. Not enough information:

1. Does Tooth eat? What does she eat?
2. Does Tooth sleep? I want to see her bed and then I want to see the beds of all her fairies...if they sleep.
3. The palace is beautiful but I didn't see any chairs or tables or anything to interact with. What is there to do besides walk around and watch millions of little tooth fairies constantly fly past? I'd quickly get bored. Tooth stays busy all the time. She doesn't have time to be bored of her palace. There's nothing there to do because she has no time to do anything else besides organize teeth.

Past and present Burgess look like regular towns. Nothing really creative. Nothing to hold my attention long (but I won't discount the graphics. The towns still look beautiful). Pitch's Lair is creative but it's also small. It's pretty much a large room with dramatic lighting and cages hanging from the ceiling. Nothing much to do there.

Sandy's Sand Island would be more interesting to see. The picture book shows it as being huge with singing mermaids, giant turtles, talking clam people, and sand forms made from sand that is in constant motion. It literally changes shape all the time. It's an entire island made of Sandy's sand with beaches and I bet it has the most amazing sunsets. He even has a castle on his island and I wouldn't doubt that, with his powers, he can morph that castle any time he wants into anything. You need a bedroom? Here ya go. Here's 12. You want a big dining room? No prob. You want some running space? Easy. Let me just morph this hallway. Maybe even change the whole castle while I'm at it. A little re-decorating. You like Bunnymund's Warren better? That's ok. I'll replicate that place right here out of my dream sand. Whatever you need, I got 'cha. ;D
Best. Place. Ever. ;)

Mim's Palace is on the Moon with lunar moths and moon worms and robots that make the Moon King all kinds of yummy food. You can go exploring his moon (technically the moon is his) and it's many craters, fly on lunar moths, eat like crazy, check out his famous balloon room, order robots around, or gaze at the Earth. Plenty of things to do.

For the architecture. Though it creeps me out a bit the idea of being surrounded by so many teeth.

KuroshitsujiAce picked Pitch's Lair:
Imagine all the torture devices you could put in there! But Dreamworks could have mentioned:
Where Pitch sleeps (if he sleeps at all)
How many rooms there are
What he eats (I'm pretty sure he feeds off fear but they could be more specific)
