Hi, everyone! For those of you who don't know, I am RetroRock64, but you can call me Lenny if you want. I know that Paul, Kayla, Kelly, and Layla did this questionnaire about their pets, past and present. I decided to do one on my pets. Here it goes.
1. What are your pets' names? Their names are Layla and Pepper.
2. What kind of pet are they and what breed? Layla and Pepper are dogs. Layla is an Alaskan Malamute (not to be confused with a Siberian Husky), and Pepper is a German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix.
3. How long have you had your pets? I've had Layla for a little over a year. I've had Pepper for over a week, I think.
4. How did you get your pets? I adopted Layla from a Malamute rescue center in Tennessee. My parents took me to pick her out as a natal present. Pepper showed up out of the blue. She escaped from her owner who probably abused her, considering the scars on her face. Her owner said that he wasn't looking for her and considered her a financial burden since he had her spayed weeks earlier. I took her to the vet I take Layla to and adopted her into the pack.
5. How old are your pets? Layla is one ano and four months. Her birthday is October 12. Pepper is seven months old. Her birthday is July 2.
6. What are some quirky things about your pets' personalities? Layla is a quiet dog. Alaskan Malamutes are said to be vocal, but Layla seldom makes any noise. She might occasionally howl, and she'll bark on occasion, but she never ever "talks" like most Malamutes. Pepper is afraid of sticks. She also does a "dance" when she wants a treat. I call it the "Pepper Polka".
7. What does your relationship with your pets mean to you? They're my companions. I don't know what I'd do without my girls. I've been through a lot, and they're great emotional support. I'm not saying my best friend and my girlfriend aren't sufficient, but they can't be with me all the time like Layla and Pepper can.
8. What are some of your favorito past times with your pets? I like taking my cachorros for walks. I also enjoy snuggling with them. They're both giant teddy bears.
9. What nicknames do you call your pets? I often call Layla "snuggle bug", because she loves to snuggle. I call Pepper "Peppy" sometimes. I also call her "snuggle bug number two".
So, there you have it. Would you like to see one in memory of Theo? Let me know in the comments.
