Long ago, in a far distant land called Yvonnia, was the center of the world. It was connected to the entire world, so the balance of this land would also determine the balance of the entire world. Part of the balance was of the four elements; Air, Water, Earth, and Fire. Each element had its own region in this land, which consisted of marvelous creatures that insured the balance of each elemental region to make sure that the land stayed would be in peace, which would also mean that the entire world would stay in peace. It was made this way when the ancient ones of each region channeled their power to make sure that no great evil would harm the world with dark magic.

However, everything changed when an evil wizard named Dimitri cast an evil curse on the land. He released evil and powerful creatures upon the elemental regions that conquered the good creatures and their worlds. They had the same powers over the elemental creatures but their evil powers were far greater than theirs. All of the people of Yvonnia suffered, they would have little food and water, their homes were destroyed; the evil creatures would devour the helpless people, and those who spoke out again the cruel wizard would suffer a fate much worse than death, so frightening that even though they’re unaware of what he does to them that it still strikes fear into their hearts and haunts them in their dreams. The dark wizard felt no sorrow, even for those of women and children, no one would be spared. He wouldn’t have them all killed, he needed someone to rule over; he just loved to see them all suffer. He would soon control the world.

The King tried to fight back but failed each time. However, Dimitri also had a good younger brother named Johan. He unfortunately wasn’t powerful enough to break the curse but knew how it could be broken. Only the one of the purest heart could break the spell, he would be able to use the Elemental Sword, which would allow him to use the elements to fight off the evil creatures and break the wicked curse. The purest of heart was a peasant man named Merik, who was a kind and gentle man. The king and Johan went to him and told him of his destiny, he accepted. He only four years to break the curse, one year for each element, he didn’t defeat the element in time it would be unstoppable.

On his journey Merik met a strikingly beautiful sorcerous named Cordelia, who wished to help him on his journey because she longed for adventure and excitement. She also knew everything about the four elemental regions, the dangers and who they could trust. With each region that they saved they grew closer, they even fell in love. Before they went to the last region, the fire region, they made said their vows and considered themselves married, they promised when it was all over that they would go back to the kingdom and make their marriage official. During the final battle it was by far the toughest battle they had ever fought. In the end they won but at a terrible cost, Merik was badly hurt trying to save Cordelia. With every last bit of strength he defeated Dimitri, but died before Cordelia had the chance to say goodbye. News of the tragic hero and a funeral was held that day. Cordelia used an invisibility spell to hide herself so no one would see her, she wanted her chance to say goodbye and then isolate herself.

Dimitri was captured and was sentenced to dead but escaped. They searched but couldn’t find him; it was as if he vanished. All that was left of him was a note saying “I’ll be back.” This worried the king, so he asked Johan for help, to know if it’s possible for the curse to be reenacted but he didn’t know. So he casted a spell to allow him to see the future, but the cost would be his sight, he would be blind. He saw the curse would be reenacted centuries from now and it would be worse than ever. This time if the curse fails to be broken the will be no hope, the world will fall into darkness, the balance would be broken, Dimitri would be immortal, and everyone would either have to submit to his will or suffer for all eternity. The only way it could be stopped would be by the descendant of Merik, the curse will be reenacted on the child’s eighteenth birthday. The new hero would be more powerful than even Merik or any other magical being, once they master their power. Lastly Johan said that the hero would be a most unexpected hero, which was be his vague way of saying it would be a girl.

The kingdom searched for the woman that was the mother of Merik’s child but they couldn’t find her. Cordelia knew of this prophecy and wanted to make sure her child and her descendants didn’t have to suffer the pressure of knowing the fate of the world might be in their hands. She sold her magic and beauty to make sure no one found out who she was and to make sure the protection of whomever the chosen one was.

It was true, that the curse was reenacted and the chosen one was a beautiful, smart, and brave young woman named Lorelai. She had a difficult journey ahead of her for the fate of the world rested on her shoulders.

Great story's really interesting, so Dimitri will be back on the child's 18 birthday, so what does Lorelia would have to do to defeat Dimitri?

She has to do the same thing her ancestor did before her, only it will be more dangerous, but she can also control the elements to help her defeat them and she'll have teachers to help her. However once she leaves like per say the water region she'll lose her ability to control it. Once she defeats the evil in the four regions Dimitri will be defeated because the curse comes at a price that he will have to pay if it is broken.
