I hate it when characters need to be actively stupider than they are just so an episode or story can have a conflict. It's why I hate the first season of Steven Universe so much mais than season 5, despite season 5 having a whole lot of problems of it's own.
As for what I like, villains who have a goal that is just as morally just, if not mais so, than that of the heroes, flipping the whole thing around. A perfect example would be any of the NeiR games

I hate the OP characters trope as they usually well, have no character. Most of the time they are bland and good thing some have amazing personalities.
I always like the underdog trope, I even sometimes like them better when they lose as it shows that they are only human and their outcomes may be unpredictable like ours. It makes them worth rooting for.
I also dislike the dumb blonde unless he or she is a really good comedy relief, like really good.
