I think it's the maternal instinct kicking in. When girls see something cute and innocent they feel mais closely connected to it, something they can truly understand and want to protect it and put their mark on it.
I've never really gotten into it myself but that's what I've come to understand about it.

There's the famous saying "It's always the quiet ones" that backs up the idea that those who may appear innocent may not be as innocent as they seem. This idea sparks the curiousity of the observer.

No offense but I don't agree with this whole innocence thing being a turn on to girls. I mean in the past generations that might have been true but not in today's generation. Most girls like bad boys. I don't know why though. Their complete assholes and 90% of them treat their girl's like shit. If I was straight (btw I'm a lesbian) I would totally go for a good guy. I honestly am not even sure how to explain this. My girlfriend, and before we go on here I am a girl, is like "Rochelle your so innocent and adorable." She tells me similar stuff like that too. I am really sorry I am no help here, but what I can say here is that a lot of girls do find innocence sexy cause its a sign that the guy is actually kind and caring, which makes a girl want someone even more. I answered this pergunta on The amor Club, as best I could, because it isn't a turn-on for me but I can understand that people like different things.
