Is this normal for a eye color?

So my eyes are a dark blue/light blue. I told my friend today that her eyes looked somewhat yellow (death the kid reference), and then she said when she looks at my eyes for too long she sees black circles forming where the blue normaly is, and she starts freaking out.

what? How is that fine? Their friend's eyes are now yellow-ish and when their friend looks into their eyes, they see black when it's actually BLUE

eye color can change. mine does! it could be lighting or shading, depends on where they are, plus it could be what they're wearing.

No, no it's not. The yellow-ish eyes thing, yeah, if they're some kind of brown-ish. The black eyes thing... No.

I can't help, sorry. :|

No, it's fine. Blue eyes change as cores a lot, and dark blue can look like black. :)

I don't know what your friend means por 'black circles', but I tried my best. Uveal melanoma is a cancer that is most common for blue and gray-eyed persons. You might have melanoma in your iris. The iris is the color area around, por the way. Here's a picture. Try looking in the mirror?
If not, try googling. I doubt we'd know.

Yes, it's perfectly fine. Blue eyes have a tendency to change colors: gray, black, green, teal, black, etc. It's fine. I have blue eyes, and so does my mom, and my grandmother, and my grandfather, and my best friend, so trust me here.

Also, staring at something for a long time can make it seem as if it changed color.
