Have u ever seen or meet a German/Dutch person? if so, r he/she nice?

I think it's hard to generalize about all Germans and you should never go into situations with others with certain expectations. Like people in America or wherever you're from, there are A LOT of differences between people from different areas and socioeconomic classes.

However, I think in general Germans tend to be mais open-minded and mais polite than Americans. In general. My school has a German exchange program, and every ano there are about 30 German kids who come over. From those I've hung out with, most have been really nice, though a few have been really snobby. (This is probably biased though because they're the "rich kid" types from cities.) My dad also goes over to Germany a lot for business and he says they do tend to be mais polite than reps from other counties.

My high school takes in German foreign exchange students every year. Most were very nice and curious others were rude, ignorant, and standoffish. One of my friends took in an exchange student last ano and she basically kicked her out of her bedroom because she didn't want to sleep in the guestroom. But hey, that's only one German out of the millions. I'm sure they're very nice people :)

German/Dutch people are no different than anyone else. Some are nice, some are mean, but it has nothing to do with their nationality. You're going to have your bad apples with EVERY nationality. It's just how it is.

But to answer your question, yes, I've met a few German people. I actually became friends with one a few years atrás when she came to my school for an exchange program. And just so you know, she was the nicest person I've ever met.

Of course -my best friend is German, and she's fantasic girl, with great personality! You shouldn't listen ppl, which judging others por stereotypes, or appearances... everything depends from an individual.
When You thinking like that, You may lose chance for meet somebody special ;)

All my aunts and uncles on my dad's side are German, and they are incredibly nice, sweet, caring, loving people.

I know a young woman from Germany, she is an exchange student that is in my English class. On occasion I will work on an English project with her. I can't say a whole lot about her, but I can see a sense of intelegence even through the language barrier, she understands the litterary material even when I don't, as well as has a sense of political ideas that she expresses, though only minutely through the language barrier. She has never so much as let loose a wild insult even when her and I disagreed on an answer. I do have a bit of respect for her.

well im not being racist or anything but they are well known for being arrogant and stuff but ive only met one german guy and he was one of the sweetest guys u could ever meet so they're not all bad

My Parents went to Germany once,they said that some people there are arrogant and blah blah but they also said that some others weren't and were the complete opposite!
So yeah..not all of them are bad!

Here in New York City you meet so many different people with different background cultures! I've met a few Germans. Their accents were so thick, I got lost in their conversation. They were asking me how to get to some well known sites here in New York City. But they are alright, I suppose.. I've never met Dutch people though.. I'm sure it depends on who you meet, where they're from and their personality..

Yes, and they were perfectly pleasant. Your friends can't generalize based on a nationality.

Everyone is different. It's best not to judge on national identity,ethnic group,race, or sex or anything like that in fact. Your friends are racist and they should be ashamed of themselves. Not every German/Dutch person is bad. People of all kinds will be present in every culture even in barbarian culture like some of the ancient ones. In fact I knew of a German person and she was very kind. She's an author and wanted to show everyone her new book and I talked to her on fanpop. ^^ I don't believe I have met a Dutch person but my conselhos is this. Take time to get to know everyone before making a hasty decision on what they are like.

Yes, I am both. My grandmother is from Germany and her mother was part Dutch. I am a bad person. I guess what you think is true. //shrugs

lolz, Germans seem like pretty interesting people to me. Dutch...yeah i know one Dutch girl on fanpop, she's a witch, she's very nice, we talk sometimes, and i think we're actually pretty close, i like her a lot and i respect her and i think she likes me XD

Considering half of my family is German, Yes I have met a German person. And I don't know about the Dutch people but Germans aren't bad people.

German people are some of the nicest people ever. Don't listen to people's stupid stereotypes that they're mean or bad. I have German friends, family, a teacher, my grandmother is German for fluffs sake. Seriously.. just..

Yes actually. . . German, but I do not know about Dutch, but maybe. I have had some close german friends. I used to tend to get on well & much better with the women/females/same sex than the men. I used to think it had something to do with a clash in my ancestry, "genetic predispositioning chemistry" but that is not ME so I am open-minded. People are people. I have nothing against any "place" a person is from. I have something against 'a-holes'. lol, and anyone else could say the same - from ANYwhere. I also get along with any class of people.

As far as any differences in personalties and things -you just have to push past and look at the person, once you connect, none of that holds and matters anymore.

I really don't know how to answer that...

I mean, a nationality is just a nationality. It doesn't determine the whole personality of an individual. Each person is different so you can't really say that everyone in a specific nationality is a certain way.
