Can someone explain the "you mad bro?" concept to me?

Okay, so someone would piss me off and then they'd be like, "You mad bro?" and I'd be lik "Yeah," so what's they point of "you mad bro" when the person's just gonna reply "yes" because obviously they ARE mad if you just pissed them off?!

You mad bro is an internet meme. It's used mostly for sarcasm and ridiculing others. The person who said it know they made you mad but it's a way to mock you so to speak.

"U Mad Bro?" Is used when you see someone is angry, and is often used to get them angrier. This is mostly used when someone is "Asshurt" to mock them for being angry for something petty, and to get them angrier.
