should i run away from home?

i'm pretty angry at my family right now. i had a bad experience with them today and it made me think about what my life would be like without them. i liked it. and i have pretty good skills when it comes to surviving in the wild. so should i go or not. its your choice.

Sweetheart, I'm sorry you had one bad experience. I'm sorry if you like the idea of your life better without your family.

Now think about your family's life without you.
The woman who gave birth to you. The parents who provide for you and take you places. How, they thought they were doing everything right, but apparently it wasn't good enough, no matter how hard they tried. No matter how much they cared for you.

Trust me, I've been through my fair share of rough experiences with my family but i think of them before myself. Running away is a selfish and stupid move.

So? That gives you no excuse to run away from the only people in the world who care about you as much as they do.

You want to live alone on the streets with no income and no prior knowledge or experience in the work force?
You may think you're good at survival, but you have no idea what's out there. You don't know what it's like to only rely on oneself in a dangerous environment.
Family members can drive us crazy at times, that is true. But to run away from them simply because of a bad experience is crazy. Your family is providing you with food, shelter, and opportunities that you can benefit from. You want to throw away what they've done to help you be my guest, but know what your family's provided you up to this point.

You think you can protect against someone with a 7 inch faca close to your neck on the streets? Be realistic here. The world is a cruel place for runaways. You won't be able to live with family or friends. You won't have the conveniences of showering or anything. You'll be completely helpless.

Just because you had one bad experience doesn't mean if you should run away.

You should never run away from your problems, it will just make them worse.

Talk to your family or a Councillor about this.

Don't run away. Calm down, get a good night's rest, and I'm sure tomorrow will be better. Most runaways don't end up with a pretty fate. And you're in Columbus, which has the unfortunate reputation for being a human-trafficking hub. Don't do it.

No, no, no. Girl, what did your family put you through? If they are abusing you then there is OTHER ways to handle it. If not, just please stay strong and remember your parents amor you no matter what.

Wait... you want to run away, because of ONE bad experience in your family?
And you're 11? And you think you can survive on your own? AND you think no one will try to hurt you?

First, let's start with; "Why do you want to run away?" Unless you're parents tried to abuse you, or something like that, I honestly see no reason for you to run away.
Second, the world is full of creeps, there's a child-molester in my town, and I live in a small town of about 100 people. No matter where you are, your going to be in some sort of danger... there are people who will try and hurt you, or sexually abuse you or things like that. You need to stay safe.
Third, take my advice; don't run away. I've had friends who have said they want to run away or kill themselves, but now that I think about it, there lives weren't that bad... and they kept saying how they'd run away or die, but they never did it. You gotta think hard about the reason why you're doing this... and who it will benefit. Will you actually benefit from running away?

If you need anyone to talk to, I'm here :)

Just because you have had a bad experience with your family dosent mean you should run away trust me that is the worst thing you could ever do! Family when it comes down to it is everything no matter how mean or annoying they can be they are still your family and amor you deeply. You shouldnt even have to consider doing this because the answer is no and think about it there are lots of people that have it worse they could be physicly abused por their parents, also imagine people that have been kidnapped they would do anything to be with their parents so to even consider running away is quite selfish and running away would result in nothing good.
