What happens when you microwave soda?

Besides it getting hot. Will it bubble up or go flat? Would it still taste good? I don't mean still in the cup, I know that's not safe. If you pour soda into an open microwave seguro cup and microwave it, what will happen?

I guess it depends on how long you microwave it.

(Note to people, it says the soda would be poured into a microwave seguro cup, so I don't see how the can would explode. It's not even in the microwave)

I think the drink might dry up. It could still be in there, but not as much and would be like burning water.

A can would explode. Metal and nicriwaves don't go together. And glass doesn't melt in the microwave. It would just get very hot. It would crack if anything.
