oi can anybody tell me what he's most probably pissed about?

ok so here's a write up (which I don't seem to understand)

girl: when was the last time you said I amor you?
boy: I didn't think I needed to because I always did and I thought you knew that. but if you didn't then I don't know??
girl: well i guess i know now
boy: now? that's it i'm pissed now.

what do you think the boy is pissed about?

sorry forgot to add that after that the girl apologized for saying she didn't know he loved her, but the guy was still pissed about something
