How do I come out to my Mom?

I'm a 14 ano old female bisexual, and I've already come out to a few of my friends, and they're all really chill with it (I amor my friends <3 ) but there's the issue of my Mom. She's not a homophobe, per-say, like she accepts them, but she particularly dislikes the choice, and she HATES the idea of bisexuals, because apparently they're just being "sexually selfish". I understand where she's coming from, but this is my personal choice to be bisexual, because I can just as happily live my life with a woman as I could with a man. So... how do I tell my mom that her little innocent barbie doll is something she's scared of?

I so wanted to put "jump out your cliset and shout I am bi" but decided that was a tad harsh.

Well there's nothing wrong with being bisexual or being gay or lesbian....not all bisexual people are bad...some are and some good you should tell your mom the truth, tell her there's nothing wrong with being bisexual

That's good your Mom isn't a homophobe. That makes things a little easier. I wouldn't phrase your orientation as a choice; it's part of who you are. It's just that once you say it's a "choice" the usual retort is to "choose" to be straight. Good luck.

If this is really what you want, tell your mom that this is your choice and it would really help if she accepts...parents usually accept their children for who they are and amor them no matter what.

Personal choice?!

Sexuality's not supposed to work like that.

everyone has different definitions of sexuality. For me it's a choice, for other's it's a birthright. Deal with it.

You have to tell her it's what YOU want, you don't need anybody's approval of you being bisexual, especially if it's parents, it's your life and you can be the only one to make your own choices.
