I just joined fanpop. What's it all about? Like what's the point of it?

Basically its a place where you can become a fã of whatever you want.

Masturbation.

I got bored of this site really fast.... So this site is basically just to make a profile, and cadastrar-se clubes and be a fã of stuff....thats it..... :|

like the other two said its just bein a fã of ur favorito shows and stars and all that but its also about makin new friends from all over the world

- Showing others what you are a fã of
- answer picks & create picks (being able to show your opinion on almost anything)
- answer quizzes & create quizzes to test your knowledge about stuff
- meet people from all around the world
- have fun ;)

To me, it's about showing your opinions to complete strangers without revealing your identity.
Point? *scoffs* Is there a point to a social networking site where you don't actually know the people you fan?
Bottom line, prepared to be addicted for life.

Just go and explore the clubes designated for your various interests. Watch out for the great amount of ignorance that resides in fanpop though.
