2-A referee does not have to be in any specific position to blow the whistle; they could do it from anywhere they like, but obviously it will often be from somewhere near any foul that occurred or at least near the play at the time.

It was a simple typo, everyone makes them. The referee does have to be somewhere, but where? Why no for #6? Why do you ask a door?
