You are only being paranoid, A samurai will not just kill someone, and this was really just a childish dare, he is not forcing you and he is offering money. He has not killed anyone with the swords first of all and segundo of all how do you know the swords are not fake?
I'd tell him I can't take money from people armed with knives... and that he's carrying very large ones... o.O
