Totally agree. I'm half aussie, and although that's the only thing I can say in that accent, I've never heard anybody say the word 'mate'.
Me niether.... I hear people say "G'day" and "Mate" but almost never together and never in that ridiculous accent which in my opinion, NO ONE in Austraia has.
natal on the beach, where my cousin was for a couple of years. Where my other cousin was for a couple of years. Where I maybe want to go for a couple of yers :P. Where I DEFINITELY want to go once! Floods, funny accent, Jesse Spencer, Simon Baker, House, The Mentalist, BIIIIG ISLAND!
Idk. I'm watching The Hangover right now and it's on the part where they're watching the video of them stealing the tiger while they were at Mike Tyson's house.

When i think of Australia. I think of my life and how special this place is. When i was arrived on Australian ground from my two weeks in Japão I cried. I cheirado, cheirava, smelt the Australian air, and then Australian Spirit.
When I think of Australia i think of Passion and spirit of others and ones country!
