Subconsciously, everyone is afraid of death. Avoiding death is probably a motivating factor in every decision that we make. Death is the root of all fears (why are some people afraid of water? it's because their afraid of drowning) Why do people go to the doctors? because they're afraid of getting sick and dying. Getting married? Out of fear of dying alone. And people have children out of the fear of dying without leaving anything meaningful behind. And why do you think there is religion? because people are afraid of dying, so they comfort themselves por inventing an afterlife.
So yes, but that's because i'm human. It's in my nature.

I think you're overanalyzing a bit. Don't you think it's possible that we get married because we fall in love? And I also don't think death was the only, or biggest, cause for the birth of religion. I think it mais had to do with people needed meaning, rather than people not wanting death to be the end (though that is a factor).
I think that IS true, but it's probably a subcocious motivation. Why do you think so much girls nowadays are so obsessed over the idea of marriage that they are willing to marry any guy just for the sake of getting maried?
As long as it isnt painful, it doesnt really scare me. You get to go to heaven! Or hell... Yeah im probably gonna meet up w/ fred figglehorn and have tea...
I accept it and mprece death cuz if u spend ur whole life cowering and fearing death when it finaly happends u can't say"I've lived my life to the truefullest". And I keep some of the same prncibles when I study bushido and codes of the samurai.
I don't fear it. I don't care if I die. I'm mais curious as to what happens AFTER death. You spend your whole life thinking about whether or not there's a heaven or hell and then when you die you could end up dissapointed. You never know.

Well if you're dead and that's that, you can't be disappointed. O_o
There have been people that have had aout of body experiences (like the Nicki Sixx from Motley Crue) so that might be proof of there being a spirit. And there has to be a place to put the spirits of the countless people that have died, if there weren't, you wouldn't be able to take a few steps without running into a ghost.
Well, it sounds painful to live to old age where your body fails you and you can't even get out of bed. most people would probably rather die young because of that.
I suppose I am. I'm afraid of the uncertainty of death, of not knowing what happens post-death, because everything that we know about death and what happens after (if at all anything does) is pure speculation.
DEEPLY! It just HORRIFIES me to even THINK of how it would feel like to take my last breath and stop breathing...and i have NO CLUE what will happen to me AFTER i die i mean an Eternity in Heaven? I mean it would NEVER end and there would be no end to Heaven so nothing happens past that and to be honest with you the thought of being in Heaven/Hell FOREVER TERIFIES ME!!!!!! (im not saying that i DONT want to go to Heaven im saying it just makes me REALLY scared to think about endlessly staying in Heaven. Kinda like living forever...but not exactly) you know what i mean?
death is an easy part of life it's living that is the hard thing. death is a good way out of the hardships of life. but, it's also scary, you don't know what's on the other side. And i think that's what most people are worried about or maybe it's just me.
im not scarred of death. but i am scarred that i will never remember how wonderful and amazing life really is. i also don't want to forgot every thing i loved, or forget the felling's that come with life. even if i am sad or angry.
Some people say that there afraid of death, but really what there afraid of is thinking of death. It gets them worked up about the future, when they should be thinking about the present. The past was a while back, the furture is ahead of you, and the present is now to make a choice that's why they call it 'present.' Worrying about the future is not a bad thing but, now is a time to make a choice; Should I fear death for the rest of my life? Or should I make a choice in what's best? You can't live forever, so don't fear death for the rest of your life. Enjoy it like a rollorcoster. Bad things do happen now and then but that doesn't mean you should commit suicide. When they do they don't relize the life and things they had untill they lost it. ---Viktorika.
No. Death is an inevitable and beautiful part of life. Death balances out life. It gives life reason and give all of its subjects point. We may not know what truly lies behind the curtain of death, but that mystery isn't something to be feared. Death is just another obstacle. Death is just another thing that keeps everything in absolute and true balance. Without death, there would be no life.
Death is perfect.
Death isn't an evil to be feared. Death is a balancing force to be celebrated and even loved. I accept death. I accept whatever comes after that curtain. I accept whatever fate may or may not come after death. I accept my part in keeping balance, whatever that part may be, and I will fulfill that part for balance.
Every person is afraid of death. Remember, humans are still animals, and all animais still have that instinct of doing whatever it takes to stay alive. It doesn't show every day, but in the face of death, even the most suicidal person will cringe.
