i'm Baptist (formally Catholic) and thinking of converting to Wicca

i've just always wanted to be mais in touch with nature and my surrounds and always had a feeling the moon was like a scource of spirtual energy even before i knew about Wicca. i belive that there is only one God, but that he(or she) is allthings and all Gods and Goddesses combined.
i do belive in Jesus, after all i was born and raised Catholic(which i kinda hated) then converted with my family to Baptist, which was much better but it's as if i still feel im not worshiping completely. i've done so much research and it seems to me(correct me if im wrong that in Wicca you can mostly belive in and pray to whom ever you feel closest to, and if for me that's the one Christian God who is all Gods and Goddesses combined, and who exists in all we see, is that okay? can i be Wiccan even if i'm not in a coven and i just kinda belive what I feel is the truth? to me it seems that, por definition, that is what Eclectic Wicca is.
please give your oppinion even if it's that i'm crazy?

Thank you,
M. Elizabeth Lemoine

thanks (: even though there's no history (that i know of) of Wicca or Witchcraft in my family, i live in Louisiana so obviously i grew up learning about Voodoo and the like. Wicca has faninated me from the moment i discovered it, not only the spell casting but the strong devotion to what you believe, the acceptance of others, and the Rede (harm none) i've always been a strong believer in Karma and Wicca seems to focus on that in some aspects.

My opinion is that Wicca is for... special people...

But isn't it forbidden to believe in other Gods for Catholics? I think you need to pick sides here. You can't be a republican AND be smart. You have to choose.

i'm not Catholic anymore, i hated that, i'm just Christian, and i'm not saying that I personally believe in mais than one God, i'm saying that i believe all Gods and Godesses people pray to are essentially one great, all powerful being, the True God(ess). and hostly is you want me to be truthful, Catholics believe that you should pray to one God and one God only yet they seem to pray to the Virgin Mary and their Saints mais than the acctual God

I'm catholic too, and I'm with you on that.... I hate it. Virgin Mary and everybody else sin't a God, but saints, which, according to them, is something different. But as long as you don't start to believe in Vishnu, Allah and Herne altogether, I don't see a problem with it.
