An expectant father wanted an abortion, but the mother refused and had the baby. Should the father still pay child support?

My answer is simple: He's the biological father, an abortion does not change that. If he is well aware that he has a child in the world, whether you wanted this or not, you gotta take responsibility and do what's right for your children while they're there.

oh most defiantly.
he made it, just because he doesn't want it doesn't mean he doe not get away with having responsibility to it.

if he didn't want a kid in the first place then he should have worn protection.
that and, everyone else pays child support, you died and made him king?
fine the bastard.

If he knew that it would end up in pregnancy, than he should pay for it.
If the woman forced him to do it (and yes, it happens) and end up pregnant, than no.

I guess it really depends..

No. He didn't want the baby, but the mother did. She is the one that's responsible.
